Not surprising. There's no way the democratic world would agree with the tactics of the new leader. The German ambassador must have been very vocal about his disagreement and that led to him being kicked out. This guy's father ruled for 30 years. He took over and promised to hand over power to a civilian government. He never did that. And from the look of things, he doesn't intend to do so. Nigerians who did everything to escape the military regime are here supporting him. What we fail to realize is that if this lifetime leadership style is passed down the children of the outgoing leaders, it'll take another 20 to 30 years to have another opportunity to tackle it. Unfortunately, it's already happening.
