If you don't create threads like these their media propaganda against Igbos will stick and they will continue to gloat. It's good to puncture their empty claims which they have pushed against Igbos over the decades. It's okay to remind them that the "gala seller" just bought over "Forbes billionaire" shares

Well I think you have a point. The media carries a lot of power.

I doubt if Nigeria will ever be one.

I can name more than 100 Yoruba naira billionaires with their businesses in Nigeria and overseas but you will not be able to name 40 Igbos in their categories.

I can name more than 5 Yoruba dollar and pound sterling billionaires in Europe with existing businesses but you wont be able to get 1 or 2 Igbos.

Okay, let me give you this fantastic medicine that has even gone beyond the shores of Africa....Alabukun powder...1918.
It changed your 1981 to 1918 grin

Alabukun was founded by a Nigerian pharmacy apprentice and entrepreneur, Jacob Sogboyega Odulate in 1918, a period when Aspirin-caffeine (headache) powder brands were just starting to spring up in the United States. The year was also at the peak of colonial control in Nigeria (today’s country was just created in 1914). There was no modern pharmaceutical industry and only a few western drugs were imported and distributed in the country by European companies.

WEST AFRICAN PILOT DIED IN 1967.
PITY SOME YORUBAS WANTED TO HELP BUT ALAS!

The West African Pilot folded in 1967 following the outbreak of the Nigerian Civil War (1967–70). At the end of the war, there were two attempts to resuscitate the newspaper, both of which failed. The last attempt (1993) was promoted by a group of Azikiwe's political and professional allies, including Chief Adeniran Ogunsanya, Chief Matthew Tawo Mbu, and Chief Duro Onabule who was then spokesman for military president Ibrahim Babangida. It was edited by Ogbuagu Anikwe but could not survive the skyrocketing printing materials costs after the country was embroiled in a violent election dispute over Chief Moshood Abiola's victory on the presidential elections of that year.

Igbos can start business but give them little time and watch as they run them down because of inexperience and mental laziness.

You see Iroyin Yoruba established since 1859 and still flourishing after 164 years.
That is authentic business acumen being displayed by the Yorubas.

Alabukun powder was established in 1918 by Yoruba, now after a century,it has even grown stronger and gone worlwide.
The business acumen and resillience of the Yoruba are attributes that should be studied in universities of the world.

There are lots of things Nigerians are enjoying now that were established by the Yoruba but they have been turned to national properties.
I salute the great Yoruba race.
