Do you see what weave has done Bloody Unbelievable!!!

http://www.ajc.com/news/atlanta/atlanta-crime-hair-weave-1193985.html

Atlanta crime: Hair weave thieves strike againThe Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The rash of hair thefts that plagued metro Atlanta beauty supply stores all summer long continued into the fall on Tuesday, as burglars smashed their way into a business on Ponce de Leon Avenue.
The thieves, apparently targeting high-dollar Remy hair extensions, shattered the plate glass window of Lexi’s Beauty Supply in the 500 block of Ponce de Leon Avenue, according to Atlanta police.
It was not immediately clear how much merchandise was taken in the 2:15 a.m. burglary.
On Sept. 23, burglars stole hair strands worth more than $100,000 from the Beauty Master store on Mt. Zion Road in Morrow.
That store's general manager, Lucien Poko, told the AJC that five of the seven Beauty Master stores that he runs in metro Atlanta have been burglarized.

In August, hair weave thieves broke into at least three metro beauty supply stores in a 10-day period.
On June 18, burglars hit the Beauty Master store on Headland Drive near Greenbriar Parkway

It is so sad but I heard about a case like this in the news about another case like this weave stealing stuff in Chicago I think; people are taking weave to a new and scary level

@nolongthing
That is angela simmons & her natural hair, and all black womens natural hair comes out like that texture and form whether it is in the form of a afro or not(unless she straighten it), the article is in the bottom, so check it out. so it's irrelevant about how long it took for a person to grow out a afro or whatever because that was never her intention to have one but since she is black american and her natural hair came out like that when she took out her weave, that isn't a afro.

also where are the fake afro weaves because the sites I got them from are natural hair sites(meaning no weaves, wigs or fake hair), & angela simmons hair length from the bottom of the hair is the same length as hers the only difference is angela simmons hair is not a afro since she has never styled her hair as one, never trimmed it or conditioned it to grow out correctly as a afro as the black women with the afro in the video did(which was mentioned in the video you posted). Black women could tell the difference between that woman in the video is a good afro compared to angela simmons where her hair is just puffed out like that after taking out her weave. if angela simmons wanted a afro, for sure her hair will have to be trimmed because her hair length is all over the place from the top of the hair to the bottom of the hair.

here is the article again about Angela Simmons natural hair, which isn't a afro: http://brownsugamag.onsugar.com/We-Wear-Weaves-Because-We-want-18792881

Also I need to educate you on something there are different types of afro's, for example curly, straight, blown out or not, and etc; which one does the one in the video have because a curly afro(jill scott has a curly afro and it is natural and at one point longer then the female in the video, so do you get the point) is different from a straight or non curly afro, and way this is one of the natural hair sites that I got most of my afro pictures that are natural: http://www.blackwomennaturalhairstyles.com/

Jill Scotts, kelis(she is mixed), & etc with their natural hair, and jill scotts curly afro is real

The Top 10 Sexiest Natural Afro Hair Styles…
http://charcoal-ink.com/2009/01/22/fashion-notes-the-top-10-sexiest-natural-afro-hair-styles/

Jill scott plus the other naturals are in the list, and Jill Scott looks longer then the female in the video but since Jill Scott has curly vs the female that has straight afro I wonder if it makes a difference(which i think it does)

Ok so Angela Simmons HOT COMBS her hair and uses Photoshop to make it look huge for ONE day then in the article she says:

“Its not because we are bald headed or anything like that, weaves enhance our over all appearance. Its like carrying a hand bag or buying a pair of shoes.” - how dumb!

I would not hold her up as an example if I were you:

@nolongthing
well in America, weave is the order of the day for most black women 24/7 sadly, but I won't penalize black women at the same time that do it because I mentioned in the first pages of the thread that their are many issues why this is going on and many of the reasons are due to outside factors when it comes to getting a job, sadly many black men prefer weave then natural hair like afro's on Black women and etc especially in America.

In the corporate world they would rather hire a black woman with straight hair whether weave or her natural hair(she either straighten by hot comb or relaxed) then a woman with her natural hair, un-straightened in afro style. It is sad but a fact

I know Erykad badu wears wigs now but there was a time in her career she was all natural with her hair, on natural hair sites, it was claimed when she took that Picture which was years ago that her hair was real, especially when she was going through her natural hair  phase. Those pictures you posted of her now wearing wigs and weaves is nothing . I followed Erykah badu's career from the beginning from the 90's(due to the fact that I have a erykah badu fanatic as a friend) and she used to wear her hair natural from natural hair and dreads until she cut her hair and started wearing it out bald or wore wigs. So that picture is not recent from what I understood, and kenyanlady did it out of spite not because she saw something that I didn't see

No I don't work for a white man, my boss is actually indian but the corporate world has alot to to with it, they won't hire women with their hair natural and un-straightened, that's just the way it is. The only black females I see at corporate tend to have weave, their hair is natural but straightened like Michelle Obama, and at times pretty braids but afro's and dreads no

I am not disputing anything the man says in his video but if a black woman wants to get hired for a job, they better not be coming in with a afro and dreads, especially in America. You are in England so maybe you don't get the racial atmosphere that goes on in America. It's sad but the truth, until I see corporate America becoming less white dominated and more free of racial bias then I will see more black women being hired with their natural hair & not straightened, but that day is not here. Until then we may know the truth but if we want a job NO afro's or dreads; even though I feel it is beautiful. I have heard my non-white friends speak badly of dreads and make fun of afro's, I ahd to correct them nicely but in America it's hard. Afro's at least in America are accepted as a 70's flash back/black power african american movement to non- black Americans but they won't accept it in the work place but Dreads, americans look down on that

Indians are worse than white people so I am not surprised.

If you get hired for your appearance then you have NOTHING to offer in the first place.  You don't get hired in the corporate world for your looks unless you are going for an EASY, DISPENSABLE ROLE.  I know what I am talking about, do you think headhunters will not hire someone because of their hair and colour? Its all down to supply and demand.

I am not saying there is no racism, of course there is racism I am stating these facts:

1. If you are being discriminated against because of your hair - YOU ARE NOT SKILLED ENOUGH.
2. Great talent is hard to find.
3. It takes two to tango: One person has to be willing to be a racist victim.

This is the reason why African Americans have the highest number of small businesses in the USA, and they need to continue.  If you do not take the risks and work hard to establish businesses then your future is discrimination until you die.  Unless of course you are highly talented and skilled.

A former black employee is suing Donald Trump for wearing her hair in a natural.

December 04, 2007: Looks like Donald Trump may have fired the wrong woman, for the wrong reasons. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that a New York woman named Jordan Mann is suing Trump for firing her because of her race.

According to the lawsuit, which one of MediaTakeOut.com's faithful readers sent over to us, Jordan used to work at Trump Towers in New York City. The lawsuit alleges that employees of Trump fired Jordan because her natural (afro) hairstyle didn't live up to the "grooming standards" at Trump Towers. As one of Trump's employees put it, "people shouldn't be shocked when they come off the elevator."

And there's more. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Jordan claims while she did work there, that she was the "target of racial hostility stemming from her hairstyle."

You are missing my point entirely! You are hypnotised with that “WE ARE VICTIMS” mentality. Now first of all who is Donald Trump? He's simply an entrepreneur, thats it, what stops African American men from becoming an entrepreneur and employing their women?

When Black people scream that they are victims and CONFORM like annonymous6 that gives Indians and white people an EGO BOOST, because you are proving that you need them and you are willing to do anything they want. Am I wrong?

Now tell me what was her job? You will find out she was very dispensable regardless of race.

If you have REAL talent this won't happen.

Its crystal clear to me 99% of black women want to be conformist slaves and 1% have pride.  The same 99% will raise another 99% of black women with even LOWER pride, to be even better slaves whilst the 1% of black women will create even greater leaders, directly and indirectly.

They want to keep their jobs, its that simple. Black women in america have black pride but they are not going to wwear dreads or afros and be unemployed. All this other things your bringing doesn't matter, until many black owwned jobs are operating and black can be free from thatt fine but that day isn't here. Black need their jobs

There are no jobs to keep and never have been. Black women in America have always had a high unemployment rate, even when America was booming. The weave won't make any difference, it will just stop the racist name calling.

Check out 2:29 of this video of a British Naija Comedian, its a great comedy sketch on the INSANITY of black women in the WHITE corporate world:

“Listen, I have been working here for seven years now and no one, absolutely no one knows I'm black”.

Nobody brought up about racism or anything but white america who controls most of the jobs in america don't want to see afro's or dreads on black women representing them or working for them, its sad but the truth. America is a different world from England. The only natural. They accept from black women is when its straightened

Please stop trying to make a demarcation between America and England - I am telling you that its the same here if you have an Afro you are highly unlikely to get a job! Europe is worse!!!!!!! But this is because black people are too dependant on other races for employment in the west, they lack confidence and there is too much self-hatred.

But if you are confident, love yourself or are entrepreneurial you do not have to conform, there is a clear choice.  If black people make the sacrifice now to build up businesses then this will cease to be a problem for future generations.  Its a win-win situation because they will contribute more to the economy and not be intimidated into hiding their real identity.
