In this part of the world, we spend 4 - 5 years in universities learning how to speak English. Black Africans have no business with research and development that's why we are known as consumers.

That lecturer doesn't know that some companies and government institutions in the west pay millions of dollars to buy research studies.

That man is not sane. It's definitely not okay at home. If he did that to my project, that would be the last time he would ever do something that unreasonable.

Thanksful:

This is one of the reasons Nigerian universities will continue to miss the top 1000.

Our tutors engage in destructive criticism rather than constructive ones, and there's no effective way to check and balance this abuse of power.

Some Nigerian lecturers are just plain stupid!!!! forming god on-top ordinary students

Believe me, some of the students are far more intelligent than him - Dont be surprise if he would not be able to produce any of the work done by these students. Stupid set of people - They should go abroad and see the contribution of their fellow lecturers to their respective countries. They will be here forming " invincible" for students.

In this part of the world, we spend 4 - 5 years learning how to speak English.

Because we have no choice. Our universites are made up of people from varied regions and tribes. English works...the same way Greek, Roman, Arabic, and even Persian worked elsewhere. Ditto Swahilli.

Unless you have an inidigenous lingo that we all can agree on.

Black Africans have no business with research and development that's why we are known as consumers.

We do. But people like you prefer imported stuff, and prefer to vote in governments that keep us on oil.

Maybe, but for now, while he is being too harsh, some teachers do get to harsh to bring out better from their students than the best the students bring out. There is a method to the 'craziness' after all.

i was very sure this is what i would see. this is a very very old video
clout chasing recyclers at it again

it is sad though, in the late 20s, this is what arch students in federal universities have to cope with - completely outdated and useless methodologies and lazy old men who take pride in being backward.

today what the client expects is architectural visualizations and video walkthroughs, not this paper machie from the 1990s.
