They will go elsewhere and we will suffer the consequences - UK lawmaker kicks against Home Secretary barring Nigerians and other international students from bringing their families while on Masters program.

The lawmaker who spoke extensively on the contribution of international students to the UK economy, said the Home Secretary, Suella Braverman’s new policy is misjudged.

She asked what Braverman would do to counter the shock this policy will have on UK universities and in their economy in general.

The lawmaker also pointed out that these international students go on to contribute positively to the UK economy with their career in all sectors in the country.

The Scottish Member of Parliament added that international students are not the cause of immigration issues the country is facing but have only been caught in the crossfire.

She also said that these international students bring their families because they want to go through the schooling experience with them.

Why ban them when they are not constituting nuisance? Arrest whoever violates your law instead throwing the baby away with the bath water

All the boasting by the western nations against Nigeria occur just because we have enemies of Nigeria in leadership positions. When the men and women who love the country take up leadership positions, UK will automatically cease to be attractive to Nigerians.

The only time you see Nigerians coming together is when they're fighting a common enemy

When have Nigeria ever had good leaders? The likes of Buhari only turned out worse than the likes of GEJ but we had always have bad leaders.

I find it funny that the people who SPECIALIZE in making lists of Nigerians that should be banned from going to UK and US, are now crying because the same UK decides to make a much longer list!

Ebows are hypocrites.
