You have to cut your rent and remove outing cost

One thing you can do is share your apartment with someone and split the rent. It should be with one of your friends.

Bro just work on the first four expenditures especially the rent ,
You have to reduce your standard and quality of living.
Also, endeavor to live close to your office in a cheaper apartment

Also, reduce your car movements and travelling using your vehicle, this will reduce your fuel car monthly consumption

Also, reduce The generator fuel consumption, not all the time you are at home, u Onn gen.

This comes with sacrifices and quality of life reduction .

Lol, I don't know what outing, sit out and restaurant is still doing on your list. You're not ready yet.

Clothing and foot wear shouldn't be a monthly expense for now, why not quarterly instead?

Repairs and maintenance of what? Your car or household items?

Your feeding cost alone is making me raise my eyebrows, do you eat out?
Are you saying 2000naira is big for feeding a day.

2 things
1.. change your car to corrolla with your income u are not at Lexus or benz stage

Second advice : build solar panel for your apartment for a 2bd 1.2m will do a good job

All this maintenance maintenance will reduce….. with this economy generator is Just out of it

Summary of my suggestion. You are living above your means. You will achieve nothing even if your income double. Cut your taste, relocate and spend what is left after savings.

But if you want to continue to live the way you are living then join Nigerian politics, yahoo yahoo, bunkering etc.

Your budget is quite indicting and indicative of someone clearly living above and beyond his means...!

Cut down your cost of living as a matter of urgency and sincerity... Cut off wasters in your life!

For instance, to be using 7000 for data in a month, what exactly do you do online??!... I know people who use 5k monthly and earn more than your monthly salary from Freelancing!

Just look at what you are paying as rent for a single guy! Come on... Get real sir!!!!

There are people earning twice that and paying less on rent! Everything is about direction and purpose! Who are you trying to impress??!

I'm glad you made a detailed budget... That's the first step to curbing bankruptcy! Now, commit to financial prudence!

People are thriving on less than your monthly income! No Jokes!
This one shock me, how much are you using on data monthly and tell us how you’re doing it, na only fb and nl I normal Dey yet 1gb Dey burn daily basis
7k monthly is wey too cheap

Your rent is too much. I earn almost 20 times as much as you do but my rent is very close to yours.
Trim that down to reflect the reality of what you're earning.

Also whats up with the dry cleaning? Ask yourself if you really need to spend money on some of the things you're spending money on. Do not ever try to keep up with the Joneses cos it will leave you in debt.

I get 37G from MTN with 6K every month... Na me even dey waste am sef.

I can do Online courses, stream games, and do my Freelance work too! If it gets exhausted, it is usually toward the validity date, or if I go wild downloading large files like Movies and TV shows!

Sometimes, it could be the settings of your devices or your network provider is messing with your data!

At OP, do your laundry by yourself

You don't need to put on your generator 2-4-7 even if it's an online job

Look for an affordable apartment and live within your means

You don't need to sit out if you can sit in your palour...e nor dey kill

In all, all I see is : u earn 400k and living large like its 1million.

Let's be modest, 400k is a lot of money in this shege era

Get gotv and pay for 2300 naira subscription, it won't give you apollo

JOKER OF THE MONTH

Your greatest undoing is the house rent you got everything right for a normal human being depend on the car you use you might not repair a thing in a month however once the car call for repair 30k might not even be enough. I will suggest you invest your monthly house rent in all this Peggy vest or opay Goal app they have interest rate at the end of the year you might get about 100k on it or if you are the risk taker igbo man kinda business man you can find a business which you will alway get your capital with marginal returns.

My rent is average rent for where i stay, its a two bed flat, i use the other room for home office..

Feeding is N2,000/day.. its not anything out of the ordinary.. tried cooking and spent more with time wasting.

Fuel for car is at the new rate of N500/ltr, my car is a 70ltr car tank..

Auto maintenance is basic brake pads, shocks, service 2mths, tire guage, police pr, tire purchase if any, minor touch ups etc... nothing major.

Fuel for generator is 20ltr/day (2hrs or less daily)

I need help.... how are you people doing it, what am i doing wrong? The rat race is killing me..
You’re judging based on basic healthy life forgetting an average Nigerian can only dream being in your position
Many Nigerians feed unhealthy diet daily, chop bread morning and drink garri for night

Also pack your belongings to the trenches and stop inviting visitors
Sell your Benz and buy mini copper or picanto
Forget dstv
Use 200 Dey sub mtn 1gb per day ahh I forget say na still 6k monthly grin
No do giveaways again or contribution

You no count hookup money, are you a virgin?

My god we no get rich people again o except for politicians

I get 37G from MTN with 6K every month... Na me even dey waste am sef.

I can do Online courses, stream games, and do my Freelance work too! If it gets exhausted, it is usually toward the validity date, or if I go wild downloading large files like Movies and TV shows!

Sometimes, it could be the settings of your devices or your network provider is messing with your data!
Nice one

You are an extravagant spender who doesn't know how to plan well financially.

If I was earning 400k a month, I will never complain. You said you aren't married and don't have kids yet some people are earning 85k a month with a wife and 2 children and are still doing fine.

You are still a boy earning 400k...grow up and become a man and take wise decisions.

When I saw "Gift to People: #10,000 monthly", I just shook my head!

Some people never know wetin dey do them!

Financial Prudence should be taught as a compulsory course or subject from Secondary school to Tertiary institutions! It's expedient in third-world nations!

The same way our leaders waste money on frivolities they term "Projects"!
