President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged the Senate to grant his request to appoint 20 Special Advisers. Tinubu’s letter of request was read at plenary by Senate President Ahmad Lawan. After the letter was read, Senate Leader, Senator Ibrahim Gobir (APC - Sokoto East) moved that “the Senate do consider the request of Mr. President C-in-C for the approval of the Senate to appoint 20 Special Advisers.” The motion was seconded by the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Philip Aduda. Jagaban is the Most pragmatic President Nigeria has ever had. If it was Buhari, we would be waiting for the next 5years before he can appoint ordinary special advisers. Tinubu would soon announce his Ministers, the list is been compiled and considered and would be sent to the national assembly later in the month |
