A government with 4 refineries is depending on one man's refinery to do for it what it's 4 refineries can't do

Mark this down!

The price list that NNPCL sent out is a reflection of what will subsist even after cutting importation of the product. That price list is Dangote-NNPCL pricelist. When they finally port to dangote it will be either slightly higher or slightly lower, but will not be a marked difference. The choice will now be for marketers to either buy refined products from Dangote or import the products from overseas. So everyone should get very used to buying refined fuel for around 400-500 UNTIL the naira significantly strengthens to the Jonathan era of 150 to a dollar.

Imported rice Vs local rice 2.0

Slurity:
You are correct but 50% will mean they need to made a commitment of about $9.5billion, can NNPCL afford that within the period without borrowing again? Considering that they are battling with importation at that same time. To be honest with you, I think dangote is fair enough to even allow 20%, and NNPCL is smart enough to get that % too. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
the roads and power plants the NNPCL is building, are they borrowing to build them?
Or you are not aware of those?

President Tinubu should just kick the hell out of everyone in this ministry or whatsoever they call themselves.

If fuel import is cut, there will be scarcity
It's useless and needless untill we are sure the pump prices has been forced down by forces of demand and supply.

They don't mean well for this govt.

How's it possible for a private citizen to build a refinery from ground up but impossible for the government to repair the ones we have or build one of ours own however small it may be?
Who are those forces that were fighting against it?

They gave Dangote cheap forex to build his refinery but only secured a 20% stake in it. Too low. Should have gone for 50% instead of watching him make huge forex in the future and the govt now be at his mercy.
you suppose know say dangote na front for the "they" guys.

YOU WANT TO COVER UP THE WRONG IMPORTATION VOLUME. NNPCL HAS BEEN COLLUDING WITH INDEPENDENT MARKETERS TO MILK THE NATION WITH FAKE DAILY CONSUMPTION FIGURES.
GOD WILL EXPOSE ALL OF YOU FOR THE HARDSHIP YOU CAUSED NIGERIANS.

If nnpc says dangote refinery will meet our fuel need 100 percent , why not sell out four moribund refineries to genuine investors. Why still pump billions to repair them every year

Tinubu's administration will be prosperous. Only haasslickers of that third class graduate will wail and complain till 2031 tongue

Do you guys say this because you really believe it or it's just something about "hope"?

If NNPC cuts down on fuel imports, it's unlikely than Dangote refinery will be able to handle the volume of fuel needed daily in Nigeria and this translates to fuel scarcity, or fuel being sold at a very high price.

I'm starting to think you guys are just bots programmed to hail Tinubu on threads because I don't think an average human should be this daft

This NNPCL or whatever is an aberation

They are at the root of everything hardship the average Nigerian us going through in this country.

I hope someone can rein them in. How can a private entity be holding the country to ransom, sole importer of oil indeed

That's another form of cabal.
