Each country to their own like & dislike, if the majority of the citizens aren't okay with it, they know how to react. If the US so cherishes & cares about the few people affected, they should offer them free entry visa. I live in one of the most diverse and tolerant areas of America and not one single rainbow person has ever been a problem to anyone around them. People just keep looking for what to say.
