Nigeria politics and politicians throws up a lot of permutations and combinations. It seems to bring together every section of the country, in order to enforce the much sort after ingredients of cohesion like peace, progress and unity.

Politicians believe that building Bridges and hand shake across the Niger are some of the needed tonic for their realization of political offices. Some were encouraged to engage in advancing them, in other to get support for elective offices.

Some of the encouragements were in form of condemning whatever your kinsmen do that is seen as being against the happiness of others, mainly along tribal and ethnic lines. Some outrightly deny their own for the imaginary support and encourages even harshest punishment to their kits and kind.

In the light of the above, some, mainly politicians from the south, must identify with the ideology, culture, religion and other ways of life of the north, so as the be seen as being Nigerian enough.

You must been seen moving from one emir palace to the other, in the name of paying homage and fraternizing. You must be seen to be more northern oriented, (not Nigerian oriented) than the northerns themselves.

You must be turban by all the emirs and must even learn how to speak different dialects in the north, so as to be supported during election. Orji Uzor Kalu, Rochas Okorocha, Peter Odili, Chibuike Amaechi, Dave Umahi, Hope Uzodinma and the list is endless, are some persons that have acquired some titles up north, just for the sake of elective positions that was never given or supported.

While they begged and pay heavily financially, for those turban, their counterparts from the north are begged and the title paid for, in the South.

Now that the cost of building materials are quite expensive and the unity bridge they have been building taking forever without them achieving their desires, will they continue? They have made gigantic and numerous enemies among their people, mainly the youths, who sees them as unsuitable, irrational and irresponsible.

Atiku would have recorded landslide victory in the south if the likes of Rochas, Orji Uzor Kalu were on the ballot without much spending. At worst, people will not vote.

My question is how is Orji Uzor Kalu, Rochas and Amaechi faring after the last election?
