Promises are meant to be kept and fulfilled by the promiser
On October 21, 2022, at the inauguration of the presidential campaign council in Abuja, the then-presidential candidate of the APC Bola Ahmed Tinibu promised to hit the ground running if elected president. One month before the 2023 presidential election he re-emphasizes his promise of hitting the ground running from day one, day 2 keep running, and other days continue running.
Presently he is the president-elect, he kept his promise to hit the ground running from day 1 by terminating fuel subsidies on inauguration day. He kept running by adding VAT to diesel, increased electricity tariff from 1st July 2023, and increasing tuition fees with compensation for student loans. He continued running by suspending CBN governor Emefiele, EFCC boss, sacked all service chiefs, and the rest of other tough decisions he promise to take.
At the palace of Oba Sikiru Adetona in Ijebu, Ogun State. President-elect Tinibu is promising that he is taking ' baby steps of pains' to fix Nigeria's problem.
What happens to the ground that is running? What is the relationship between hitting the ground running and baby steps of pain? Certainly the language changes after an election victory

APC has successfully minted you into the 133m poor Nigerians. LET ME EXPLAIN!

Fuel is N530/L, marketers eyeing N700/L already.

Official Dollar rate was at N490 but now N760.

Your salary was at N50k 4yrs ago but now N58k.

What you don't know is inflation rate 4yrs ago was 11.9% but now 24.5%

By this inflation rate you will need to earn N120k today to be able to afford what N50k salary could afford 4yrs ago but you're stuck on N58k.

APC HAS SUCCESSFULLY MINTED YOU INTO THE 133m POOR NIGERIANS.

May this shege not locate me and my family. Ire o!
