That's how Satan wants to channel the thought of all humans but it will cost you time and humility to figure out the truth about GOD and GODS.

Humans always think of how to progress in life so when they're seeking guidance what comes to their minds is higher intelligent beings wiser than them that's why some aliens seized the opportunity to approach mankind as GODS. Humans have a lifespan so we do expire after sometime but these aliens don't have a lifespan and as we all know that experience is a great teacher due to countless years they've spent as living beings they tend to be wiser than humans so when they speak to humans and offer advices humans have no other options than to pay tributes to them in form of WORSHIP.

But where do this intelligent beings come from?
Why do they contradict one another when given counsels?
These two questions will solve all the riddles if you can find correct answers to them.

We need to know where they come from that's when we can be sure if they can truly help us and since their counsels leads to contradictions humans have been waging wars against ourselves based on what these aliens tells us. For instance in ancient times before people takes a dispute to the next level they always consult these aliens through oracles but instead of getting wise counsel on how to resolve the disputes the aliens will give both sides support to press on with the disputes that's why people often goes to war till today. So don't think people just carry weapons thinking of killing or getting killed NO there are higher intelligent beings supporting them in going for wars no right thinking human leaves his or her families just to go killing or getting killed for their families to face a life of uncertainty.

This is how intelligent people came to discover that those Gods themselves are rivals!

So how can one religion prove that there God is the Almighty who created everything including the unseen aliens confusing mankind?
For this question you have to listen carefully to what each religion has to say about:

How they come in contact with their God?
Why did this God approach their ancestors?
What this God has done for them before?
What plans does this God has for the future?
How has this God been supportive in making such good plans/prospect a reality?
