Former Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose on Sunday said he will not accept any appointment from President Bola Tinubu even if he offered it to him.

Fayose who paid a visit to the president in Aso Villa last week also denied that his visit was to plead for a withdrawal of his ongoing case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Speaking on Channels Television programme ‘Sunday Politics’, Fayose said Tinubu should only give 40 percent to those above 65 years in his cabinet while 30 percent should be given to youths and the other 30 percent to women.

“I am not looking for position. If Tinubu offers me any position I will never take it. any of us that has reached the age of 70, 65 and above, Asiwaju should tell us to go and bring our grown up children that are well educated. Already their future have been stolen. They have rolled over their time with our time. President should give 40 percent for old cargoes like us, 30 percent for women and 30 percent for youths”.
