What if the tresury is empty?

I think the money is small because Nigeria is broke.

President Tinubu should tell Nigerians how much the country has so the sensible people can know where Nigeria is.

About 70% of Nigeria population is in the poor people category, meaning about 140million of 200million Nigerian are poor. N8000 to 12million households is a highly ridiculous palliative.

What happen to other poor households and what exactly can N8000 bring to the table of a house hold in a month considering the hike in price of commodities in the country?. So sad!

This is nonsense. They should use that money to repay debts.

This is just an avenue for looting. Who determines the 12 million households. Just like trader monie and feeding school children. Sotay they claimed they fed school children during covid era although there was lockdown which exposed their wickedness. etc. This is looting

Giving people fish instead of teaching them how to fished.

These politicians are stopping one way of stealing (subsidy) and turning to this new scheme. This country is a scam.

I don't like this type of palliatives. It's definitely going to end up in some people's pockets.

Jonathan tried it and it failed, Buhari tried it and it failed. Tinubu should not end up like those two.

We can't afford another looting bonanza in this country.

Palliatives should be inform

>A scheme to convert 1000 public taxis to CNG from petroleum engines at half the price across the federation and Making CNG readily available

>Create Industrial zones in the six geo political zone and encourage manufacturing of Agro products by giving tax holidays for a five year period for prospective investors.

>Grant Solar companies like SUNKING tax breaks and finance in other to reduce the cost of those solar kits for homes and small businesses (This takes care of generators to an extent)

> Funds to encourage state governments to procure big luxurious buses for cheap transportation.

> Increment in minimum wage.

> Tax reduction for manufacturing businesses already operating in Nigeria.

Those palliatives are not only very different from our regular approach but they also encourages production.
Delighted reading these suggestions, if only they'll be implemented.
This 8k per family of about 12 million Nigerian families is unbelievable.

Re: 12 Million Households To Get ₦‎8,000 For Six Months, Says Tinubu by egoldman(m): 4:49pm On Jul 13, 2023
8,000 / 30 = 266
266 is what Tinubu would give daily to Nigerian worker whos minimum wage is 30k, meanwhile same worker, his transport fare have increased from 200 to 500 in most cases.

When you factor in house rent, light bill which same Tinubu have increased by 40%,school fees, foodstuff, you then understand that this 8k is an insult upon injury.

This renewed shege will definitely favor Agbadorians and their families, Amen.

Rogues and charlatans.

Just like in the Buhari govt! Tinubu wants to do direct TRF to so called phantom people. How una know the account details of these millions of people abeg.

Also, didn't Tinubu make a case for these same people about how we aren't ripe for cashless, but these are the same people they now want to trf to, people that don't typically have accounts..but somehow they do now.

What was all the noise about cashless, if the poorest of the poor apparently magically have bank accounts now??. Awon banza!

Dem no even bother change their scams cos they know their people are dumb as rocks...lol
