That's the sensible thing to do

Reduce subsidy cost by 50%, not an outright removal done by this criminal, calamitous Tinubu government which has further impoverished Nigerians

Obi is 1billion times smarter than tinubu. This is really economical wisdom. And this is how Obi made his wealth.

If you ask Tinubu’ how he got his money now, na wahala. We would start hearing incoherent blabbings.

All eyes on the judiciary tho.

Had Obi won the election, he wouldn't have removed ordinary 0.1% of the fuel subsidy by now.

Subsidy removal na for who have balls hence his Excellency Tinubu removed it in the first day

Obi, the acclaimed good manager who generated meager less than N2bn in his 8years of a potential Anambra state.

Obi would have removed fuel subsidy in bits instead of removing all at once. Before removal, he would have put mechanisms in place to cushion the effects. Obi is sensible, Tinubu is not.

It would have been better if Tinubu had started with 40/50% subsidy removal and then increase it after palliatives have been provided. The palliatives I mean are what Obi stated above not sharing of 8k to party members.

I wonder at times if you people just talk for talking sake.

Buhari already removed the subsidy before he left!

You clowns have been saying Obi also promised to remove fuel subsidy and he would have done what Tinubu did. But now his post have been revealed to show the details, you have changed your tongue to yarn dust.

All the major presidential candidates promised to remove subsidy, only Tinubu had the balls to remove it in day one, others would have spent years before taking the decision as they are not prepared enough for the governance

Nigeria was benefitting from petrol subsidy until when Buhari handed over to Tinubu.

We are the ones that should be wondering how you people reasons (no insult intended please). The reason is that you like to exonerate Tinubu by all means. Another excuse is that Obi would have done the same thing. What is that thing that Obi would have done? Why do you think nigerians must suffer by all means? What makes you to believe there's no alternate way of doing things in this country that will make life easier for everyone? Sincerely, I regret sharing this country with you guys.

It was Obi that's built and attracted most of the investments giving Anambra state money today, some of the investments were ready after his tenure ended
Investments like Orient petroleum, Onitsha mall, Innoson vehicle company, Orange drugs, Juhel pharmacical company, Tiger food, Eastern Distilleries & Food Industries Limited, SAB Milla, Agulu Lake hotel, Onitsha business park, Anambra state university teaching hospital, Anambra state university Igbariam and so many others these are some of the investments that Obiano benefited IGR, there is no magic Obiano would've done that start experiencing increase in IGR immediately he took over

He can't improve the economic condition of the country. He never made Anambra an investment hub...

He's not going to remove anything by half. All these talks are easier said. if I have the opportunity to talk and make promises, I would say almost the same or something even better..

Moreover, the money for subsidy was not even paid by the government to NNPC, hope you know that?
According to NNPC , not as dime was paid by Buhari, meaning Nigeria does not even have the money to be subsidizing in the first place, Buhari is just a coward who doesn't want people to blame him and keep making things worse for us on the long run.

Imagine if NNPC isn't government owned and we have to pay all those debts of fuel subsidy, don't you think it'll be calamitous to us..

We have to rise past all these trying to always blame the government, at least the done has been done, we just have to follow up and support.. Don't make leaders do what is abnormal all because we want them to always satisfy us.

What people always expect is that if a leader assume office, there should be instant 24hrs electricity, 20 refineries and all..

And sometimes you'll just wonder if all these people have never held a position before to be deceiving followers with all these I'll do this, I'll do that.
Peter obi was once a member of the economic team of Jonathan, still nothing. He was a Governor of a state, still nothing.. so why should you just suddenly believe he's going to be extra as a number one citizen.

All these are mere conjunction. If all the investments in Lagos are attributed to Tinubu success, would you accept that?

Obi invested Anambra money in Orient petroleum, it started during his tenure today Anambra is oil producing state, Obi invested Anambra money in SAB Milla, is one the investments that gives Anambra huge IGR and massive employment, he built Anambra state university teaching hospital in Awka, he built Onitsha business park, which house Nigeria stock exchange, and banks, he built Anambra state university Igbariam campus, he built Onitsha mall, Obi built Agulu Lake hotel these are major investments in Anambra state, he did all these without owing still the state was least indebted state in Nigeria under him

Have you gone through 2023 budget? One of Tinubu's surpporters said the subsidy was paid till June ending (July 1st). I don't know if that's true or not. But what I know is that without subsidy, a liter of petrol shouldn't have exceeded #400.

Do you think Tinubu cannot review Buhari's policies if he knows it is not working? If it is something that would personally affect politician, do you think such policy would stay?
