Im thinking of buying rav 4 2004 model.3m.but my fear is drives shaft.i pass thru Almost 600 pot holes a day..daily .tofay my ball joint I changed last year October embarrassed me today. Thank god I had got a replacement 2 mo ths back.maso my mechanic for chop me. Pls which suv is available that does not use drive shaft at front. Is there any suv that is rwd.i don't want to go back to front wheel drive. Due to my drift nature and hard accelerations |

Quite a personal topic for me. I had thought about this long before fuel prices went up and all that. These are a few to guide You 1. Ford Escape (>=2013) 2. Ford ecosport (a 2wd vehicle though) 3. Honda HRV >=2016 (excellent choice) 4. Honda CRV >=2017 (excellent choice) 5. Lexus RX450H (not 2l engine but hybrid, gets good gas mileage). Most suvs are not fuel efficient, one has to manage 1 out of the lot. I keep dreaming of one suv 2b created that has good fuel economy, maybe I should stop dreaming now. |

sowunmisho:Actually the newest SUVs have better fuel economy than most of our older sedans. Especially the 4cyl turbo engine SUVs. I was shocked to see 33mpg for a recent glc 300 model. Edit. Not sure of the SUV model I saw. |
