Tinubu must leave Niger republic alone. We don’t want war in Northern Nigeria. Northern Nigeria has suffered enough, we don’t want anymore crisis. Take your war to South West and fight it there. How stupid can people be for crying out loud.

What about the war that is currently going on in Igbo land, between Simon Ekpa and Nnamdi Kanu's supporters?

Ok calm down, examine this.
Nigerian army invades Niger
Nigerian army starts dying en-masse in Niger. This is widely expected because 80% of the people are pro-Military Junta.
While that is going on, they are getting killed by IPOB, Boko Haram. Fighting a war in 3 different theatres.
With Tinubu's unpopular regime, that will lead to a coup in Nigeria.

Dying en mass when they are yet to start?

This has been part of Nigeria foreign policy for long. Nigeria had reverse military coup at least four times. Niger coup is not the first experience

It is better for the military to risk their lives rolling back coup than risking their lives carrying out coup

Military coup in Africa is like a chain reaction. Once it happened in one country successfully. it will keep happening in other countries. Five military coups in west Africa alone within 3 years shows Nigeria is not save. It is capable of influencing our soldiers to be unruly and eventually may decide to join the trend

That was how someone keep arguing blindly with me in another thread. Who lose her major flour market because of barren landlock country like Niger.

It is high time we start educating people about the power Nigeria wield with her population and economic influence in the continent and accross the globe. No super power can shun or ignore Nigeria interest in Africa.

Nigeria should not waste our scarce resources in fighting war in Niger, we have many pressure issues that needed to be focus on. Robust economic section and sponsoring of another coup from within are more than enough to solve this problem. And by the end of this month, the junta won't have choice but to hand over to interim government or be booted out by another sponsored military coup that will immediately reinstall civilian rule.

The blockade option is the best for now.....we don't have resources to pursue a war now and since it ls already landlocked blockade should be easy.
Funny thing with people arguing that Russia will defend Niger is that the real reason for the Ukraine war was the removal of Yanukovich a Russian puppet president in 2014....a move Moscow still considers a COUP

First, is democracy a must? Because it works in the West, how effective does it work in Africa?
Next, is the military government in those countries performing human rights abuses like killing their people?
The reason why Nigeria had to intervene in Sierra Leone and liberia is because of the human rights abuses and to restore law and order. If those countries had a military regime that was stable, do you think Nigeria would have invaded and won?
Every country has a right to their destiny. You went to school and eked a source of living, some didn't and learnt a trade and did same too. As long as Niger portends no trouble to us, we stand to gain from our neutrality.
Sending Nigerian soldiers to Niger will mess Nigeria up. Nigeriens believe that this move is in the best of their country. Your borders are porous. Giving Nigeria guerilla warfare and terror attacks will not be a problem. If very mighty Russia cannot subdue Ukraine, how much more weak Nigerian army fighting another motivated army. Except you just like Nigerian soldiers dying.

Military rule is illegal. Almost all west African countries have experienced military rule and it was always horrible experience and that's why they unanimously say never again to military rule.

If the five coups are allowed to stay, soldiers from other West African countries will continue to do same to their governments. A decisive actions need to be taken.

Yes. This better be true. It is that guy that wanted to overthrow Russia that was making mouth he will enter. And he can't do it. Russia cannot allow the military to take over their nation too.

Nigeria will crush Niger, Mali, Chad, Burkina Faso, etc.

Bola Tinubu should go. I support it 100%. This is a chance to kill Boko Haram finally. We will enter Chad and Niger and block those supplying them with weapons. This is the only chance Nigeria has to stop terrorism.

Bola Tinubu will surely go to this war.

That is the whole point of wagner. They are not officially Russian troops. They are contractors who are not bound by rules of engagement etal. To be fair, it is the same game the US played with blackwater. Blackwater are also contractors who are engaged to do dirty work.

Russia doesn't need to use its armed forces. Wagner is there. They can provide support via other means.

Russia will not directly enter if there is any military action but the Wagner group will definitely side the Niger coup plotters. Mind you Russia already played the coup act with Wagner for this kind of situation. Wagner acts on Russia interest and Russia denies it in a diplomatic outcome. Russia got all the cards as it is now .
