Everybody have a role to play in the Leadership of this great country called "Nigeria" in respective of your specialisation. Lagos state Transportation union and association are currently facing so many emancipating challenges of government policies, companies advertisement spoiling the image of some vehicles association, and usage of advanced vehicles that uses gas,electricity and solar.

Participation in Politics starts from the Grassroot/elementary stage/early stage. Politics still remain one of the major tools to safeguard,promote and protect jobs,initiatives, and plans. In Lagos state we have witness so many policies that have made so many transportation Workers and unions jobless. Such as ban of Okada/Motorcycle and Keke Maruwa due to security issues, Advert humiliating Taxi Cabs due to lack of air conditioners that everybody knows not all passengers can afford air conditioner cabs. Instead of Government should seek for other alternatives such as; provision of equipment to tackle those issues such as CCTV, consistent recording and updating of Data to know the numbers of all vehicles owners and compulsory training for all motorcycle drivers and price control that will be affordable for passengers.

Politicians only favour those who voted for them in office through repair of roads, provision of working tools, distribution of palliative to only those who voted for them in Office.

In conclusion, for the Transportation Union and Association to save their jobs and mode of transportation, they need to participate, contribute their own quota of development and introduce other strategies that can tackle insecurity and assist more members that want to join their Union and Association,Please they will also put all other things into consideration once they have emerged the winner.

Those are just insulting words to spoil people's reputation, the outcome of the last Nigeria National Election, an Okada man emerged as a house of representatives member who pays Transportation union for every money he makes, then what is the big deal if they participate.

We all do respect, A single mother or lady with a tatoo on her neck was one of the Governorship candidate in South South region,We had seen so many people who made their money illegally used as governors aides..Please compare and contrast and tell me the one you will choose.

I will choose a well educated, well experienced person with a good family background and history of good behaviour to rule every where in Nigeria. Touts and agberos irritate me a lot. To think they will rule over me as my leaders in politics, with my education and experience is simply revolting.

Those are just insults,if you claimed you are educated, definitely you should know that there is Transportation studies department in tertiary institutions, There are many educated people among them. Nigerians have this attitudes of tax avoidance/evasion, collection of Transportation levies required coerce/force so that our nation can witness the development and growth people desire. Take a look at the Taxi park,there are taxi parks in every local government, very decent and hygiene/clean for people to patronise them.
For example if you are a retailer, someone buys something of 1000 naira from you and keeps procrastinating/delaying your payment, wouldn't you used some forcefully action to collect your money like.

Brother, you are very wrong. The people being glorified, did they pass through Transportation schools? We are talking bare knuckled, drug infested crooks masquerading as Park agents. If they must use force to pay and you justify it, please also justify your landlord using force to throw out your belongings when you owe him for a week? Or that one no follow?

That is a wrong allegation, the Transportation union/association people I know are responsible people and that force is definitely necessary because Nigerians love awoof. Comparing them to landlord is a different business entirely. There is uniformity, good code of conduct, transparency, effectiveness and efficiency in the Union/association. These are the people who had worked tremendously for the LGA , LCDA and Councillor in the collection of Transportation levies and other levies. They are experienced rather than bringing one rich outsiders with no experience as local government chairperson.
