Unknown gunmen, believed to be bandits reportedly attacked Kofan Gayan community in Zaria, Kaduna State.

It was gathered that two men were killed while others were abducted in the ruthless assault by the bandits.

Sources from the scene have identified the victims as Shamsuddeen Larabawa and Shafi’u Yusuf.

It was gathered that both victims hailed from the town of Kusfa in Zaria City but resides in Kofan Gayan alongside their families.

An eyewitness at the scene said despite previous reports lodged with local and national security agencies, as well as the emirate council, the measures taken to prevent such occurrences have proven insufficient.

I reckon education is a load of bollocks when it comes to how a kid will turn out to be. It all boils down to mindset and decision, innit? You can have the best teachers and the fanciest schools, but if you don't have the right attitude and the will to do good, you're buggered. Education can't change your personality or your morals, that's something you have to figure out for yourself.

Look at some of the most notorious terrorists in history, like Osama bin Laden. He was well read and educated, but he still came out violent and evil. That's because he had other factors that influenced him, like his ideology, his environment, his peers, etc. Education couldn't influence that, it only gave him the skills and the knowledge to carry out his plans. Education is not a magic bullet that can solve all the problems in the world, it's just a tool that can be used for good or evil depending on who wields it.
