A whole university? This is shocking. This will have negative impacts on learning process.

Why?
Whoever cannot make it to work five days in a week, should be relieved of his employment. These are the same lecturers who took bribes to manipulate and collate nonsensical results during the elections.

This is what should be done for now so that Nigerians can get relief
The kind of mess we met on ground is beyond ordinary, we need to be patient to get things right.
You forgot that you voted for the mess. Nigerians do not need to be patient with their government. They have been patient since 1960. Anymore patience will be stupidity.

Any lecturer who can't make it to work all through the week, should be fired! They helped Asiwaju rig elections as returning officers, they should suffer the consequences of his misgovernance.

Who caused the mess?

Who are the "we" that needs to be patient to get things right?

So you actually recommend this method for the economy? do you have any idea what will happen if the whole workforce of Nigeria start working 2 or 3 times weekly? So this is the solution? Once again you have proven to be a little boy with no sense your only reason for existence is to be collecting 20k per month for posting rubbish online.

Please, who and who is the WE? What is your name and who the hell are you?
who is this delusional boy?

You must be the chief media representative of Tinubu APC gofment, Nairaland branch.

A full time job for you, because I wonder how you are almost the FTC of every thread for 24hrs,7 day, 4 weeks, and over 2 months now.

I am impressed of how you are completely sold out for the Tinubu APC propaganda job.

You deserve a bonus and a pay raise. cheesy

I only came to politics section when it was Asiwaju's turn.
I never got involved with Buhari, get your facts right.
Put it righly. You were only employed by Tinubu media organization to represent Nairaland APC branch.

It is now becoming clearer.

It's not only UI. Almost all Universities in Nigeria now work on Mondays to Wednesday. Anyone currently carrying out postgraduate research knows this. Profs are complaining badly. It's just terrible how Nigeria treats are intelligentsia. I won't be surprised to see a Prof on Okada one day

Good.

It is.better they rotate it. Since Nigeria has been working for 5 days. What have we produced apart from corruption. Thumbs up to University management. 5 days work is scam. Tbey should rotate it three_three days among staffs.
Other organisation should follow. Subsidy is not the end of life

Well, a Yoruba adage says, bí èèyàn bá pẹ lori imín, eesin keesin a ba le iru ẹni bẹ (when you stay long on faeces, different kinds of flies will meet you there)...

On-site for a few days and remaining to be remote should have be implemented long ago, especially with Covid...

Just as it has been said, the world will not remain normal again after Covid. Covid was just a flash. Univesities and companies where on-site works are minimal should better implement better tech to facilitate the smooth running of their operations.

Some things are not be done on site often....switch more to virtual lectures in some quarters (the teachings that require it)...

admins should attend to some issues remotely....etc...

Not all staff can utilize the Staff Bus.
3 day work schedule would help a lot..
