Even the taliban has reason to merry and smile at cameras. While Nigerians in a supposed democratic dispensation are waltzing around with long faces and deep sad eyes.

So America hasn't seen them to invade,na Nigeria dey their body

The Americans and before them the Russians spent between them 40 years in total in Afghanistan. They lost lots of men, money and materials there. And nothing changed. You want them to go back.

The only successful conquerors of Afghanistan were the Greeks, and the armies of Islam...and the latter it took them 6....note 6...times., 6 brutal times, with lots of loss of men and materials, and brutal massacares, before they could tame those Afghans.

The Greeks had to build colonies in the area (Khandahar is an old city that was founded by Alexander the Great in the ancient times)...and staff them with veterans of their wars to keep the place under control...for some time.

If the Americans go back, they would have to commit the equivalent of the Rwandan genocide before Afghanistan submits totally.Maybe bring in millions of Americans to settle and run the area and thorougly assimilate the Afghans.

Emir of Sokoto that was speaking in favour of women's education some years ago? The taliban would regard him as a heretic.

Yes, because the only way to make Afghanistan submit involves gross human rights abuse. Really gross. Neither the Americans or the Russians before them had the guts to do such.

🀣 Toyota cars has suffered in the hands of Taliban, more Toyota has been blowed than any car brand. AK47 too. Them Dem don fight their eyes out, make Dem just divide the country into two, one for US, one for Russia.

I sight a 2003-2007 Toyota Corolla grin... So that one is now also recognized by the Taliban, just like its big bro the Hilux grin

If you want to know a rugged vehicle, check the Taliban carpark cool

As much as Toyota will never admit it, the Taliban have done a nice job advertising the Hilux for free.. Whatever vehicle those niggas rely on for their operations is certainly durability at its best.... The Hilux really came through for the Taliban during their decade long war with the US.

Until the women ask for more rights (like freedom to be able to travel alone, play sports etc.) then you will see the REAL TALIBAN come out of Islam in Nigeria.

Until the women ask for more rights (like freedom to be able to travel alone, play sports etc.) then you will see the REAL TALIBAN come out of Islam in Nigeria.

Well, muslim women at the very least can travel alone and to some extent play sports. (I once had a female classmate in university, a devout muslim woman, hijab wearing and all, who was an active female judoka in her spare time. In this country. She told me that.).

At the end of the day, anyway, while Islam in Naija may be restrictive, it isn't taliban restrictive yet. The Sultan himself has spoken in favour of women getting an education (even going as far as to say so in a speech opening a woman's university in Sokoto which in essence stated that certain people had no excuse not sending females to school....).

Then there is Iran. Hardline muslim country...and women can get educated up to unviersity, and to some extent play sport.

But then again, I'm not muslim, and it is not my ken to defend them.
