WORKS COMMISSIONER LEADS IN AUGUST SANITATION EXERCISE IN MKPAT ENIN
...pledges to address critical
environmental challenges in Mkpat Enin

This morning, the Honourable Commissioner for Works and Fire Service, Professor Eno Ibanga was in Mkpat Enin to take the lead in the August edition of the monthly sanitation exercise held across Akwa Ibom State.

This he did in line with His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno's initiative that public office holders must close ranks, return to base and take government and governance to the people at the grassroots.

Armed with an impressive track record of community service and love for his townsmen, as evident in his weekly visitation to his hometown, and hosting of Christmas fiestas for his community annually, Professor Eno Ibanga, who is the Political Leader of Mkpat Enin LGA is conveniently driving the Governor's vision of taking political power, and benefits of democracy back to the people in their communities.

While appreciating Mkpat Enin youth for participating in the exercise, the Works and Fire Service Commissioner promised to regularly make himself available on sanitation days, and to ensure that critical environmental issues in Mkpat Enin are addressed.

Government should acquire mowers for the exercise. We shouldn't be inflicting pains on people when we have machines that can do the job effortlessly.
