Ousted President, Ali Ondimba Bongo was 'elected' President in 2009, just after the death of his father and predecessor, Omar Bongo, who was President from 1967 until his death.

The ousted Bongo, in 1977, released a funk album titled,
"A Brand New Man," which was produced by Charles Bobbit.

See joy on the street.
The joy that will be on the streets of a certain west african country when the political coup plotter and his criminal gang are disgraced and thrown out will be unprecedented.

Show of support from citizens.....

Gabon's former President Omar Bongo had 70 bank accounts, 39 apartments, 2 Ferraris, 6 Mercedes Benz cars, 3 Porsches and a Bugatti in France.

The late father, Omar Bongo and son/Ali Bongo back in the years

This is to tell you how African citizens are fast embracing military juntas who they once detest, but now accepting them back. Because he that is down fears no fall. No military regime can be worse than what we currently have as civilian governments.

The first true attribute of democracy is the ability to elect leaders of our choice, but no, they rig elections, unleash thugs on people they perceive not as their supporters, beat up electorates, snatch ballot boxes even with the help of security agents, write results and announce it. And expect you to accept that as democracy , and tell you it is better than military government. If this is what they call democracy, sane African societies are telling them they will rather accept military government.

If the judiciary does not restore confidence , I am afraid for Nigeria, the whole world may soon read same story on headlines of various media outlets just like Mali, Guinea, Niger, and now Gabon , even though we do not wish for such

Many are tired of the so called democracy.

The old, cruel, and covetous politicians are to blame.

I'm not and will never be in support of military rule...

But to think that some african leaders still hold onto power even in democracy for years as if it is a monarchical system is baffling....

Africans deserve better than the type of selfish leaders we've been punished with..

Nice one. You can't impose your lanky self against the WILL of the people.

PEPT better take some lessons here. African have finally woken up to realise the West are using the corrupt criminals like Ebola Ahmed Thiéfnubu and his likes to steal our commenwealth and use it to develop their countries while bringing in little as Aides Rubbish.

ALL EYES ON THE JUDICIARY.

A big Congratulations to the people of Gabon.

This is a serious warning to the Nigerian judiciary that all eyes are on them. The masses ain't happy, nobody is smiling at all. And for Reno omokri that like attacking the obidient movement I just dey pity am. He doesn't know he is gradually losing relevance.

N/b. Am a strong atikulated personality. I honestly don't have anything against Tinubu, what am against is the process that brought him into power. I think it was corrupt

Rigging an election is a coup .
This is against the democratic process of allowing the will of the electorates to decide.
Certificate forgery is the greatest of all coup.
Nigeria is in a civilian coup.

Tflex01:

If Obi had won, we would have supported the military to take over the following morning. But since it is Tinubu, he will complete his 8 years because he's the choice of the majority across different zones.
Is Obi the one who forged his Chicago University results?

Nigerians brace up. It’s about to go down.

I foresee this. God should save us from this menace looming in Africa because of our corrupt Politicians. INEC just pray this shouldn’t get to Nigeria because you will be blamed. You steal people’s mandate and expect to prosper.

If the Gabon 🇬🇦 citizen love the coup then let the coup continue with them.
What I’m only concerned is people in Nigeria who are suffering to feed or get a good life of 50naira.
Things are really hard in Africa especially Nigeria. Show Love please to your Neighbour. Nigerians are going through a lot.
Those who keep coming online to defend the corrupt and ineffective government are doing so because of Tribe and religion meanwhile they knew deep down that nothing is going to come out from this government.
It’s a pity

If the people are for the coup, no one should have a say in the matter. The west can now see that democracy is not an end-all and be-all.

They will soon start a propaganda against Obi based on this development.

On second thought, African leaders need to sit and think about why the coup is becoming a thing.

If you are performing as a leader, I don't think any military will try any coup against your government.

El Hadj Omar Bongo Ondimba was a Gabonese politician who was the second president of
Gabon for almost 42 years, from 1967 until his death in 2009. His son took over and you still say democracy is the best?

Africa's democracy is adulterated.

Please, the people of Gabon, don’t let ipob/obidients support you O! If they do, you will definitely fail. Ask Peter Obi,,,,ask Wagner boss, Prigozhin,,,ask Trump.
