The presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale has stylishly dodged a question during an interview regarding the immediate lifting of UAE visa ban which was announced by him yesterday.

The UAE in a statement didn’t talk about the visa ban lift but spoke extensively on the bilateral agreement between Nigeria and the country.

This raised eyebrows in public as Nigerians who were happy about the ban lifting started having second thoughts on the credibility of the statement released by Nigeria’s presidency.

Their hopes were dashed again when Ajuri, when asked if the immediate ban lift is true on Channels TV Yesternight, couldn’t give a straight response.

This has led to several reactions on the social media, with many blasting the Nigerian government for deceiving the citizens.

This is what the UAE should have done.

Scrutinize everyone applying to go to your country. Don't open up your borders to every Tom, Dick and Harry.

That's why despite the population of Nigerians who travel to the UK, you don't get to hear that Nigerians form cults and start constituting nuisance over there.
