Thats heavy. Do I get low moments? Yes esp during student days on matters that were not necessarily academic. These days, I get angry- occasionally with myself but mostly with other people. Suicidal? Never in all my conscious life. People who do are not necessarily weak. They misrepresent or misinterprete situations around them and genuinely need assistance bc life is superior to all things else be it work and finances, relationships, looks etc.

erm why the smiley face for such a potentially serious topic

and if the answer is indeed "no" what is there to narrate again

i've never thought of that before. even i wanted to die, it would hurt my parents and all the people who love me. so why ?
life is still beautiful even when we are facing the toughest situation.

These people would never admit it EVER. Even mental illness them go blame on demon. The jesus freaks are already here as if christians don't kill themselves. Suicide is prwvelant in nigeria even. Good one op. People posting might actually easy the burden of those suffering in silence.

@ ATLgal, my dear uve said it all, they'll never admit such, forgeting that we're all human and that there are times when we do be at our low moments, which might caused by being a failure, losing one's job,child,husband,wife or any other thing that is so precious,thereby giving way to the thoughts of giving up on life. I only opened this thread so that Nairalander can share their experiences here. I dont blame those who were writing nonsense here cos they find it difficult to see that suicide is a prevalent case in Nigeria as well as all over the world.

You'll get more answer if you say have you had suicidal thoughts? cos we young people are actually under a lot of pressure to make it and it's frustration when something is not going our way.
