You give a fraudster only one year imprisonment and think he won't return to fraud when you release him?

Which one year?? He was sentenced to N200K fine

This is one of the reasons why most countries believe that both Nigerians and the government are fraudsters and fraud enablers.

Nigeria is gone. Everything now end up as fraud. Government is fraud, people in government are fraud. Judiciary is now a fraud

Law should be the moral baseline. If someone can't stick to their own morals, they should at least follow the law.

Nowadays, people don't seem to have much respect for the law and often think they can get leniency through sympathy.

What we really need is to build a country where the law rules, not individuals.

Hehehehe

Na dem.

After checking the name, I was not surprised.

These people and their desperation for money.

If we say they are fraudulent now, mod go ban us.

That means you are dull if you think that's an Igbo name. No wonder you guys behave the way you do.

The Nigerian govt itself knows it is a failure hence the reason why it cannot convict fraudsters and corrupt politicians with a tangible and fearsome jail term
