At the beginning of February 2011, a group of Nigerians functioning under umbrella
of Let There be Light In Nigeria Project Group, came together to organize a peaceful
simultaneous march in major cities around the world to call attention to this basic,
fundamental, inalienable and democratic right of a civilized society,

There is no nation on earth, that has subjected its people to such an enormous
waste of talent and potential than the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Collectively, we are the custodians, keepers, and protectors of a country that is
yet to live up to its promise.

We are no longer going to settle for a country, that continues to explore and
define its identity in darkness.

The entire population of about 150 million uses, as much power grid as the area
around Narita airport in Tokyo. South Africans consume 55 times more energy per head
and Americans 100 times more" (The Economist - October 21, 2010).

Resolving the issue of lack of electricity in Nigeria should be

PRIORITY ONE!!
