Don't make the mistake of climbing Oshodi pedestrian bridge with your wallet in your back pocket. Put it in front trouser pocket and put your hand in there as well.

No try cross Cele bus stop by dashing across the road.

Of course, wetin go carry you enter bus wey get only "one chance", or making call in a car in traffic with the phone on the window side, or wearing expensive earrings in traffic (a friend's mum paid very dearly for this mistake; scars showing where the bling was forcefully pulled from her ears are a huge reminder)?

If you are in a human traffic and you hear a female voice saying 'obe l'ori yin o', make you change direction quickly. Especially if you are all dressed up for an interview.  The woman is warning you to move, before she pours the hot stew she is carrying on your head.

True life story.
