NDLEA Sings New Tune?

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, may have started singing a new song on why they have detained ace comedian, Baba Suwe, for nine days now, according to an online report published early today.

The report quoted Mitchell Ofoyeju, NDLEA Head of Public Affairs, as saying that the drug suspicion was concocted by the media and not the agency.

“We have never told anybody that he carried drugs in his body. Baba Suwe is under observation just like it has been the case with every other suspected Nigerian passengers, the law is no respecter of anybody, we don’t want to speculate about anything and we will make a comprehensive press conference on the case after we conclude our investigation.

“We are still investigating the case; we’ll address the press as soon as we conclude our investigation on the matter. We are not going to say anything until we conclude our investigations. Like I said before, we have never said Baba Suwe was arrested for drug, it is the media that are writing this, we never said he was arrested for drug,” Ofoyeju told www.huhuonline.com.

When P.M.NEWS contacted him today on this volte face by the NDLEA, Ofoyeju said: “We reasonably suspect him and we are investigating him. But he is innocent.”

Ofoyeju had issued many press statements in which he said that Baba Suwe was being held on drug suspicion.

Because, as the NDLEA man carefully explained, they never came out to say he has drugs in his body. He was arrested on SUSPICION of drugs in his body as detected on a scan.

That is why Baba Suwe will not make a penny from NDLEA if he goes to court. He could sue the newspapers that embellished the story, but not NDLEA.

When is the part 2 of this movie coming out??

Apart from drugs what else does NDLEA do then how can they claim they did not hold him down on suspicion of drugs, i don't understand o.

Even if the picture is fake it still shows that you have a very poor assessment of it given your above explanation. How do you expect the skin texture of the neck to MATCH a clothed body? Moreover an ambient shadow is casted from his chin downwards towards his neck, so please what do you really mean?

I have studied the picture and as far I as can tell, it's authentic because there hues of soft shadows casted from his back against the ceramics which is NATURAL. There are diffusion of lights reflected from a source over his face and adjacent wall and even if it was later proven to be sham maybe by 'pixel forensic experts' which I don't think are in Nigerina then, whoever did this is a guru.
