Kogi State has been thrust into the spotlight due to a distressing clash between two political factions associated with the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Tragically, what began as a dispute over sharing formula has escalated to the point where it has claimed several lives in Anyigba, Dekina Local Government.

Trendygists learned that the violent altercation unfolded just yesterday, resulting in the loss of two lives due to gunfire. Reports suggest that the disagreement rapidly snowballed into a deadly confrontation in the vicinity of First Bank, Anyigba.

Swift action has been taken by the state’s military task force to quell the unrest and apprehend those responsible. All individuals involved in the tragic deaths of their fellow group members have been disarmed and taken into custody.
