For those of you justifying Tinubu CSU certificate ssga, I want you to tell me whether this is right or wrong. In Canada, for instance, taking cannabis is legalized and it's not an offense. So, in that part of the world, you can indulge in consummation of that substance without any legal implications or harassment of any kind. But come to Nigeria, it's an offense to be found in possession of cannabis for any reason. And an offender will be punished according to the law.
Now a Nigerian leaving in Canada can consume or take cannabis without any legal implications. But can the same Nigerian person brings the substance down to Nigeria and continue to use it here? And when he is apprehend by law he will now begin to justify himself by saying he is doing so because he came to Nigeria from Canada where cannabis usage is legalized. And he could equally do the same in Nigeria since the substance is of Canadian origin. To all Tinubu supporters, will this excuse be acceptable in Nigeria system.
Third party vendors preparing replacement certificates for university graduates, is an American thing and it's not legal in Nigeria. It can only be done and used in America, not Nigeria, because our system does not permit it. Since Tinubu schooled in America and he is aware that certificates are mere ceremonial document over there and academic transcript is recognized instead, why did he not submit his transcripts to INEC? Why submitting a ceremonial certificate to INEC, which the institution deposing under oath that that certificate is not from them. Why is Tinubu submitting a third party vendor replacement certificate when the school said he had not picked up the original certificate issued in 1979?
I pray the supreme court takes their time to analyze this matter well and arrive at an acceptable judgement so that negative precedent will not be set in this country.
