THE ANC YOUTH LEAGUE SALUTES THE ANTI-IMPERIALIST MARTYR, COLONEL MUAMMAR GADAFFI
21 October 2011

The African National Congress Youth League salutes Colonel Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi, the ANTI-IMPERIALIST MARTYR, a brave soldier and fighter against the recolonisation of the African continent. Brother Leader was ruthlessly killed by rebels armed by NATO forces, who invaded Libya because of its Natural resources. Brother Leader resisted imperialist domination of the African continent and never agreed to the continued draining of natural resources from beneath Africa’s soil. He understood and appreciated that Africa’s natural resources should be economically used to benefit the people of Africa.

That he was killed in combat is an inspiration to many Freedom Fighters across the continent and the world, particularly to the generation of Economic Freedom Fighters. Like Colonel Gadaffi, as Economic Freedom Fighters we will fight to the bitter end and ready to pay the highest price for the retaining of South Africa and Africa’s natural resources to the rightful owners. As Economic Freedom Fighters, we are ready to fight tirelessly to protect and defend the sovereignty of our countries. As Economic Freedom Fighters, we are ready to defend the political freedom and liberation, and de-colonisation handed to us by the generations of anti-colonial Freedom Fighters.

The political liberation handed to us by the generation of anti-colonial Freedom Fighters should be defended because it is the platform upon which we will transfer wealth from those who owned and controlled it under colonial and apartheid domination and continue to do so now. The struggle for economic freedom and liberation will never be easy, because imperialist agents will infiltrate the oppressed and exploited people and portray anti-imperialist fighters as enemies of the people. The struggle for economic freedom will never be easy because like Gadaffi was betrayed, there will be so many betrayals and sell-outs along the way, who will co-operate with imperialist forces to banish and demolish Freedom Fighters.

The only appropriate send off we can give to Colonel Gadaffi, the ANTI-IMPERIALIST MARTYR, a brave soldier and fighter against the recolonisation of the African continent is by re-committing ourselves to the struggle for total economic freedom in our lifetime. The question we should ask is WHO IS NEXT?

Rest in Peace Brother Leader!

Ghadaffi was one of the few leaders who supported ANC during the apartheid ea.
This is when most of the world have abandoned ANC and mandela.
Robert Mugabe is in the same line and is also well respected in the ANC

When Mandela was released, he was one of the first leaders to be visited.

South Africa is more experienced about the evils of the white due to the sufferings they experience during the apartheid regime.Atleast non of us knew how our grannies were treated during slavery and colonization but with southy's experience,i guess it was a very bad experience. So blame not south africa for praising ghadafi cuz they have been to hell and see how hot it really was .

Osama bin Laden gets killed and the Americans celebrate. Muammar Gaddafi gets killed and the Libyans celebrate. Because of western hype and effective propaganda, you now want the rest of the world to also celebrate death using the western premise that loss of life is justified. Americans are responsible for killing more human beings on this planet comparable to maybe Hitler's evil achievments and nobody complains because Americans are skilled at presenting justification for death. Please research the good that Gaddafi did for his people, you would wish that your leaders did even half of that. His good deeds shouldn't excuse his evil, it's just for you to have a balanced view free of western propaganda

Nicely said. One thing is that some stupid NL will get their information from CNN, BBC which are Western Media Propaganda Machine and use it as a source.

One thing is that Africa does not have Media for an Ordinary black to get credile news, instead we depend on western media as bunch of mugus. How many killing of black Lybia was reported in CNN or BBC None. All you can see is black are being used by gadaffi as a mercenaries.

Who ever control the media, controls the mind. Do your research and see that no Nigeria president will achieve what gadaffi did.

He has no mansion, no fleet of cars. His only crime is that he is against the blood sucking West, and being in power for 42

The cold blooded murder of Brother Leader Colonel Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi, will never go unpunished. People who rejoiced of his death, the likes of Hilary Clinton and hypocrite Obama will never have rest of mind. They and other accomplices will pay for this dreadful act. We will continue the fight to rid Africa of colonialist agenda. We will protect Africa's resources for her children and bring those who conspire against us to justice. We will cut off the hand of those who collaborate with the west and banish those who betray Mama Africa.

During the rule of Brother Leader Colonel Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi, Black Africans/Black Libyans had the same opportunity as their fellow Arab citizens. They could go anywhere, participate in everything and had equal rights. According to my friend who lived and worked in Libya, if anyone harassed a black man for no just cause, that person will have to face justice. Blacks were respected and giving their space. The Arab citizens were very envious and furious of this, because right from time, they have always considered themselves to be superior to black Africans. They call us slaves and refereed to non-Arab women as whores including western women. That is why when the war started , they unleashed their hatred on Blacks.

Now, all that have changed. Blacks are being hunted and killed with impunity by these so called "rebels". In today's Libya, Blacks are afraid to come out of their houses. Even to go out and get necessary things like food, they can't because for fear of being attacked. The western media and their "rebel" friends orchestrated a propaganda campaign to label anyone black in Libya as mercenaries. It worked for them and ever since our brothers have suffered in the hands of these terrorist(rebels) including Nigerians. If it wasn't a CNN reported who came across a group of 7 Nigerians that were saying their last prayer before being taken to the killing field to be butchered, they would have been lying six feet under the ground as we speak. Even, Orji Uzo Kalu sent an appreciation letter to that reporter, thanking him for his selfless sacrifice, good conscience and making sure the Nigerians were in safe hands. We all knows what happened to others that were so unlucky

This is the New Libya those of you who come here celebrating the death of Brother Leader want. You are so ignorant of what is happening there. Your only source of information is via western media and you cannot independently question their reports because you have got no mind of your own. You are simply brainwashed and a traitor to your race and continent. You are your own worst enemy. You come here to spew unfounded rubbish because you are given scraps from their table and you seek for a residence permit in those western countries. Some of you in the diaspora who think you belong there, your day of reckoning is coming. It is no surprise that anytime there is an economic crises, blacks and other disadvantaged minorities are the first to be laid off. Why can't you free yourself from mental and slave mentality? Oh, and you think the rebels are your friends because you support them? Well, since those of you who come here to defend and support them are blacks, I challenge you to go to today's Libya now and try to say that to their face that you have always supported their cause since the uprising. I will bet my everything, that you are 100% likely to be butchered or imprisoned in very bad condition by those rebels you call your innocent friends and have have always supported. Mark my words, henceforth, the black man who happens to be or go to Libya will always be treated as an animal and a suspect from now on.

The military commander of Tripoli was/is a a terrorist sympathizer and former jihad fighter for the Taliban and Osama in Afghanistan. NATO have done a grave mistake that they will forever regret. The people they have put in power will turn against them very soon. That is how the Arab mind works, they never appreciate anything. Their values deeply goes against western values and both will never reach a compromise. Oh, the commander says that he will sue Britain and America for their hands in his torture. He alleged that Western intelligence partnered with Libyan Intelligence under Ghaddafi to carry on their so called war on terror. You see, the game is just starting. Gaddafi himself hated Islamic fundamentalists, he fought them tooth and nail and look for them in every nook and cranies. He was the first to mark Osama as a very dangerous man and a threat to the world. Western leaders pallied with Gaddafi and sought his co-operation in every level. Now they have betrayed him. But they will pay the heavy price for this. I bet you, it is just a matter of time.

Brother leader was a man proud of his roots. He acknowledged that Libya belongs to black Africans and that the Arabs came and settled there. Those Arab leaders hated him for speaking the truth and isolated him. That is one of the reasons they endorsed the No fly zone. He sought to make Africa independent in every endeavour. He invested in many African countries and contributed to their fight for Liberation. He had his faults and very eccentric. But tell me, who is perfect in this world? World leaders came to his tents, he never went to them unnecessary. His first visit to the USA was in 2009 i think for the UN general assembly. He visited Italy( former Libya colonial master) once through out his rule. If a Libyan was harassed outside of Libya, he made sure those responsible pay for it. He was the first leader to call on the western countries to pay Africa 7.7 trillion dollars for their role in Colonialism and slavery. He was derided by European leaders for allowing Africans to cross to Europe via Libya. He told them that until Europe stop their dirty dealings in Africa and let Africans take care of themselves, the influx of immigrants to Europe will continue.

A strong man, A man of his words. A fighter. You must treat him as an equal or phuck off. He brought pride to his people and made their life the best in Africa and one of the best in the world. A soldier who took reigns of a huge poor country like Libya from western puppet King Idris at a young age of 27. A leader murdered in cold blood. Those rebel terrorist would have never had a chance against Gaddafi if it wasn't for NATO air raids.

A man of dignity brother leader you are. A man who chose death over slavery. What is a man without dignity?

Rest in Peace Brother Leader Colonel Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi

Dude stop misleading people to visit your website. If you want to advert your business do so with honesty.Don't tell people to visit your website to view Gadaffi's last words when it is actually a ploy to get people interested in what you are selling. In case you don't know ,that is regarded as fraud and no one in his right mind will want to buy what you are selling after this stunt you have pulled.

If your brain was not located inside your intestine ,you will realize that while the rest of Africa was dozing.Gadaffi armed and funded Imkati sizwe boys(ANC military wing) to fight alongside the cuban army against the Apartheid soldiers.South Africans are eternally grateful to the Castro and Gadaffi because while their black Africans brothers were watching from the sibes line ,the Castro and gadaffi got head on into the fight.

I do not support the killing of innocent civilians.Gaddaffi was brutal to those who opposed him though he took care of his people in General. His lust for power is what got him into all this trouble. He could have negotiated with the NTC but he was stubborn.Even Castro stepped down from the "throne".However he is the lesser evil when you compare him to NATO.

Olodostein your above writing is some of the most heart-felt and persuasive I have read here in a while.   Clearly you have deep understanding of Libyan culture, particularly with regards to how the status of black Africans might be impacted by Gaddafi's fall from power.  It remains to be seen whether black Libyans and immigrants become subject to systematic human rights violations for the length of time your view seems to imply.

Rather than forecasting the emergence of an Arab Apartheid in post-Qaddafi Libya, a more optimistic view could be that while the enlistment of black African mercenary militias by Qaddafi did lead inevitably to reprisal killings against innocent African civilian immigrants for a few weeks after the dictator's fall, any new democratically elected government that does emerge in Libya will certainly recognize all citizens of Libya as equals before the law, who are free to coexist peacefully there, as they did over past decades.

Regardless of the perceived freedoms that stand to be snatched from black residents of Libya over the coming years, there does exist a considerable body of evidence which substantiates the fact that Moammar Qaddafi ruled his country with the proverbial iron fist, secretly executing political opponents by the dungeon-full, eavesdropping on the populace with incognito spies lurking on every city block, and spiriting away to fates unknown,  all found speaking ill of Moammar "Maximum Leader"  Qaddafi.   As in Romania after the fall of dictator Nicolai Chauchescue, the full extent of the repression inflicted on ALL Libyans by Qaddafi will coalesce gradually, like pieces of a giant jigsaw puzzle, into a blood-soaked collage of unspeakable brutality and industrialized horror, over the coming months.

Finally, the very fact that Qaddafi ruled Libya BY FORCE for 42 continuous years implies that despite whatever promise he brought in as a young coup leader in the 1960's, the tyrant aged no better than any other out-of-touch third-world  "President for Life", in that he held his entire population hostage at gunpoint, while crowing to the outside world that no better qualified candidates for leadership could possibly ever emerge, for as long as HE,  the dictator, remained alive and alert to neutralize them as quickly as they popped up.   Thanks be to Uncle Sam's Eye in the Sky, and that 17-year old Libyan rebel who placed his "9-milli" handgun to the captured Gaddafi's temple, the dictator did not remain alive forever.

Maommar lies stone cold dead, like a trophy deer on a shopping center cold-room floor as we speak, while crowds of his own hometown citizens line up outside for their turn to walk by his bloodied cadaver, and jeer at their dead tormentor.    Whatever dramatized adulation, euphoria and rabid support the Libyan populace expressed for state cameras at government rallies staged with nauseating frequency over the decades prior to the day of that freezer tour, were, after all, feigned out of pure instilled fear.

You may have a point, but you don't understand how the Arab mind, culture and religious teaching works. They don't see things like me and you. They have got the heart of stone. You need to see the way they celebrate by shooting in the air. If they have got problems between themselves, let them sort it out themselves. If an outside interferes, I am telling you, they will hate you for that. It is just a matter of time before western strategy back fires.

Gaddafi was not a saint and he wasn't a devil either. What about Al sud dynasty ruling Saudi Arabia. In fact, the name Saudi comes from "Sud". Their father created the kingdom and ever since, the family have been ruling. What about Yemen, Bahrain and other despots in that region. The western leaders practices Hypocracy and not Demcracy. There is a double standard.

The islamist are poised to win in the Tunisian election. Muslim brotherhood and the salafist are already taken over in Egypt, hence the intimidation and slaughter of Coptic Egyptian Christians( one of the descendants of Ancient Egypt). Mubarak once told George Bush that as far as Democracy is concerned in the mostly Arab African/ Middle eastern countries, he should forget it. Why do you think the Jews are mum about all these happening?

I am not a supporter of dictators. I am a huge advocate of human freedom, justice and equal rights. But unfortunately, it doesn't apply to certain cultures. They sometimes prefer things the way they are. Their philosophy is Tit for Tat. No spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation. It is very complex system there.

Same thing happened when the West supported the Muhujaden in Afghanistan against the Soviet and they are still suffering from that till today.Obama and Europeans are very naive and are adding more problems to their people. But time will tell them how stupid and ignorant they are.

why are people acting as if Gaddafi had the right to decide whether his people wanted him in power or not. Honestly, people have the right to choose who they want as their leader. Gaddafi didn't want to go, and people got fed up. This happened to the Tsars in Russia and the aristocrats in France. Live and let live. Let these Libyans move on and face whatever they will face. But it is insulting to deny someone's rage, because of this anti-West agenda, please.[s][/s]
