To transform something means to change that thing into something else. So in simple terms, we can say transform means change.

God can call anyone unto Himself because he loves us but God does not want us to remain the same. God wants us to change He wants us to be a better version of ourselves.

I understand that some people believe that you can come to God the way you are, that is true. But you cannot remain in God the way you are.

God wants you to grow to become a better person. God doesn’t want you to be stagnant.

In the book of Act 13:9, God used Saul but Saul had to change to Paul which is a better version of home Saul.

If you want to be called by God and remain useful in His kingdom, you need to understand some things.

You need to be transformed
God has called us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light but we have the responsibility of transforming ourselves

Transforming yourself does not mean you need to change your name like Saul in the Bible or that you need to change your skin colour.

According to Romans 12: 2, you need to be transformed by the renewal of your mind through the word of God

You need to be willing to change
Before you can be transformed, you need to be willing to change. Your heart should not be a heart of stone that doesn’t accept change, instead, your heart should be a heart of flesh that is flexible and accepts changes easily.

You need to have a strong will to become a true Christian. When you are willing, God will help you stay on course.

It is not always easy to do what the Bible says but if you are willing, you can do what it says. The Bible says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

Don’t be the type of Christian who isn’t willing to make an effort. If you don’t make any effort then nothing happens. But if you are willing to put in effort and you do, then grace will be released into you to do much more than you think.
