Section 137 of the EA 2022 is at the discretion of the Judge and didn't say oral evidence isn't needed any more.

It shall not be necessary for a party who alleges non-compliance with the provisions of this Act for the conduct of elections to call oral evidence if originals or certified true copies manifestly disclose the non-compliance alleged.

It is important that these documents are demonstrated in Open Court unless these CTCs openly and manifestly show non-compliance.

The Appeal Court in Oyetola & Anor v INEC & 2 Ors was explicit on the discretion by the Judge however the SC has not touched or ruled on it.

Again and again, not to demonstrate in open Court will come in direct conflict with Section 36 of the 1999 CFRN, an obviously superior document to the EA2022.
