That's bad news.

Yet the INEC said they were ready.

What were they supposed to say?
Ok, they should have predicted that one of their staff was going to be kidnapped?

Are you ok? So how is it the fault of inec if security misbehaves? Why not blame police or fg
I should ask you if you're okay, part of the funds INEC collected is to help secure voting materials and officials. They're to partner with security agencies in that aspect.

So why send officials and materials to hot zones without security?

Unless they're aware of what's going on. The country is an animal republic for the benefits of strong animals.

Blaah Blaah Blaaa..

You plan in silence, execute in silence, let the results be in the public..

But in NIGERIA (and this INEC)
Plan in public, broadcast plan, execute shabbily (because everyone now knows their plans), ZERO RESULTS..

And that is how they do every time.
They will never change.

which gimmick is INEC crippling? Can you stop a desperate politician from perpetuating his neferous act? INEC can only do their best and leave the rest for the process to take care of itself. Are they not human?

Blaah Blaah Blaaa..

You plan in silence, and execute in silence, then let the results of your execution be in the public..

But in NIGERIA (especially this INEC and security institutions)
They plan in public, broadcast their plans, then execute shabbily (because everyone now knows their plans), and they come out with ZERO RESULTS..

No Intelligence..

And that is how they do every time.
They will never change.

what are you saying, so if INEC says security are on ground for the election have they said anything wrong? INEC themselves are endangered species during elections. They are even the primary target by the thuggs or hoodlums. INEC staff are your brothers and sisters, they are human beings like you and I. If politicians play by the rules there won't be any need of security chasing anybody around. Must somebody die because we are electing our so-called leaders? Politicians are the problem not inec, I can say that again.

Next election, same “endangered species” would still be the ones targeted.

No improvements.

And we will be here arguing online as usual.

We are in a democratic dispensation, they can't do everything in silence because everyone is interested in knowing the status of INEC as to how ready they are before the commencement of election but of course you have a point

Failure of security still goes back to the POLICE, MILITARY, and all other people who were heavily paid BY THE INEC for this very day.

Someone once said: "grab the voting box, seize it, run with it". Win by all win and go to court. It is not wonderful that he is now a president? So what do you expect now?

If your brain is being used for it's actual purpose, then you'll know that INEC doesn't have their own personal security outfit. Instead of praying for the safe return of the person kidnapped, you turned your brain off.

Get Lost.

The Police and Military were paid billions in allowances for this election alone.

I hope you aware that being intentionally stupid is an insult to your parent? Always try to use your brain, it will be of immense help to you. Someone has been kidnapped and you can only blame it on INEC as if they have their own personal security apparatus. More annoying is the laughter emoji you used. Are you that dumb?
gammarays:

Who owns security?
The same employers of INEC 😂

No you're the one stupid
I blame anyone doing hazardous jobs with no good pay. The ogas at the top has diverted the money meant for officials security.

Are you telling me INEC posted staff to Lions den without security and we shouldn't blame them?

You're more than dumb maybe an Agbado miscreant

The kidnapped INEC staff has to do the needful to spare his/her life

You want me to be lost upstairs like you? Tufiakwa, I won't be lost. So if the police and military failed to do their job, how is it INEC's fault? Use your brain, it's meant for reasoning and thinking. Don't leave it unused.
