EU OBSERVERS DESCRIBE IMO ELECTIONS AS TRANSPARENT AND CREDIBLE.

Saturday 11th November 2023, gubernatorial elections were held in Imo state with the sitting governor Senator Hope Uzodimma (CON) re-elected with 540,308 votes across the state.

The election has gathered comments and accolades from the international community with Imo governorship election declared the freest, most transparent and credible election in the history of gubernatorial elections in Nigeria.

Mr . Barry Andrews Chief Observer Of the European Union Election Observation Mission To Nigeria 2023 had stated this in a statement.

Describing the election as a model election for the country and should set an example going forward for other elections.
