Nigerian political elites should be serious about eliminating public sector funds stealing. Stealing of public revenue by political office holders, Ministers, governors, local government chairmen, is the biggest problem of Nigeria. EFCC and ICPC seem like they are partial, it is glary that these politicians are stealing, the money being generated via revenue and state allocations do not match developments on ground. Kogi state, and all other states should be scrutinized by EFCC and ICPC, focus on political office holders, they are our problems, even worse problems than yahoo boys.

Which good strategy, it's a window to empower them to get cash reserves for politics & some will convert the cash & store in dollars for personal use. Most security operations involves mobilization of personnel & equipment including vehicles, arms, logistics including fueling & personnel allowances. Is there any of those processes that funds cannot be transferred electronically. Is this what applies in other climes? Money laundering will continue to be a challenge in this country.

You're correct. But the political structure supports the corruption. You don't contribute anything but you get allocations monthly. Where else is that done? Of course, these guys see this funds as a free meal. No accountability nor foolproof means of verification of expenditures. That's where the problem is? The National Assembly, the way it's constituted will never correct the anomaly.
