Plain and simple

That is why they are saying they are removing fuel subsidy

Ask yourself do you think we have the type of government that would subsidise anything to ease our suffering?

Has the level of this "subsidy" ever been quantified?

So why deceive us?

Ans: If they tell us they are raising tax through fuel price increase, we may demand what they intend to do with the money generated, that is why they are calling it a subsidy removal.

Fellow Nigerians this fuel subsidy is a scam to generate more money to support the lavish lifestyles of our corrupt elite.

In a few months the cost of food will rocket and so will cost of transport and running a generator, all this so that corrupt politicians can send more billions to Swiss bank accounts.

My prayers are with your all

I agree with the General, it is from fuel price increase to removal of subsidy. It all comes to the same circle "increase in the price of petrol" which easily translates to the increase in the price of almost everything in the country.

They can call it anything they want. What matters is the adverse effect of doing such thing on the poor masses who rely on generators to get power in their homes and small businesses.

If the government is really serious in improving the standard of living in Nigeria, then fuel and electricity must be subsidized, education and health must be free.

So much to call 'inappropriate' in the country, but all the way down, it is only about 'survival'.

By the end of 2012, Nigeria would have up to 200 million people, but there are no plans to provide the essential health facilities or the plans to increase the number of police officers to a certain amount. They don't set targets and achieve them, they just set targets, set targets, set targets.

Painful it is, did you know that the FG have spent 2 billion USD (300 billion NGN) this year on Police a lone?

If that $2billion dollar had been put into creating jobs for wrestless youths, security would not be so expensive to maintain

I hope you are not saying that they don't have enough guns to terrorise and kill innocent people.

Nigerians are to blame for our leaders.

Why do we let them get away with all this criminality that they do?
