Well, I would say the black community in SA are so demoralised

-firstly due to the tortuous years in the hands of apartheid regimes.

-secondly, just a few chose to adequately educate themselves and get employed.

-thirdly, they turn to drugs to balance life up

-fourthly , they embraced the Western culture especially into their family lives, without proper govt instructions to fine tune and cushion the effects. There are too many broken homes, and even when the parents are together, they are either too busy with their own lives or the govt parent/children policies handicaps them from playing their roles effectively. Imagine tell a black child that he's grounded as only form of punishment, funny right?

-fifthly, almost everybody of all ages have access to drugs and booze.

- finally, due to all these societal dysfunctionalities, everybody just dey live their lives the way they see fit, with little or no parental guidance or caution on ways to preserve oneself, a community/society that minds its own business, and a govt who doesn't care one bit about what you do with your body.
