The inclusion of renowned personalities such as Toke Makinwa, IBD Dende, and Seyi Tinubu as just “item 7” on President Bola Tinubu’s list of 1,411 participants for the COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai has enraged Nigerians.

Toke Makinwa who recently had a lavish 39th birthday party graced by big names in the Nigerian entertainment industry raises eyebrows with her doing as she also graces the ongoing COP28 filled with world leaders and climate activists.

COP28 also known as 28th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC is being hosted by the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a view to building on previous successes and paving the way for future ambition to effectively tackle the global challenge of climate change.

The summit is billed to run from 30 November to 12 December. Note that Nigeria is one of the countries that signed up to the original UN climate agreement in 1992.

Taking to her verified Instagram page today, December 2nd 2023, Toke Makinwa shared the video of her as she attends the COP28 and promises to update her fans and followers as events unfold.

As expected, the video of Toke Makinwa stirred reactions online, while some questioned her presence at the COP28 as they expected the government to select another person with more knowledge of climate, others drummed support for Toke for attending such a meeting that matters to the nation.

Toke Makinwa if she's truly part of the delegates is there to cash out. It's her business. Her lifestyle. She's gonna earn at least a decade's salary of the average civil servant in the few nights she spends there. What more can a woman ask of life?

The thing about evil people is that they don't know when to stop. Each section they feast on grants them the energy to move further and have a larger chunk till they eat everything and jump to another. They are cancerous. They are parasitic.

And that's why it is stupid to hold them accountable by preaching morality or being good to them. They don't listen. Their conscience is sealed. They lack empathy. Anything that will become an obstacle to their benefits must be quickly deracinated.

The more they feast, the more powerful they become. Hence, you see the outright extravagance of the Tinubu-led APC government. They don't care. The masses can lament, murmur, and wail till infinity. They don't give a fvck.

Until then, let's enjoy our pains and penury as we watch our oppressors celebrate in milk, meat, and honey. And listen to the sounding cymbals of their minions who sing their praises day and night.
