The Federal Government of Nigeria, through Finance Minister, Mr. Wale Edun on Tuesday, unveiled the National Vehicle Registry (VReG), describing it as a landmark initiative in Nigeria’s journey towards economic stabilisation. The Minister said the platform marks a pivotal shift in using technology for efficient revenue collection and enhancing public services. Edun noted that VReG is set to bridge critical gaps in vehicle information, linking to global databases for seamless international connectivity.
