When will you stop being negative and start to change your perspective so as to change your life for the better
.
He's not being negative, he's just telling you the reality on ground.
Didn't you read the thread of a Nigerian general who bought a property in the US worth more then $1M and he has several other similar properties?

Where do you think the money comes from?

Well, I was told that Babangida was the one who made civilian access to assault rifles next to impossible.

Eventually, the good citizens; in order to stay alive, will need to become as lawless as the evil ones.

Trust me, as insecurity continues, the gun culture may become established in Nigeria, and then evil will let loose, even on the evil, wicked ruling elites.

Of course it is not enough to buy Generals houses in Atlanta, Texas and Florida.
It is only in a Banana Republic that you hear such slide without angst just days after a major expose on a serving officer alleged;y having multiple billion naira houses abroad..... only in Nigeria.

And I will continue to speak out against the monetisation of professionalism throughout the corridors of government. Everywhere you go so called professionals fortunate to find themselves in administration have sold their souls to money. They have reduced every venture to naira and kobo from Betty Edu to the Defence chief and many more.

Yes, they speak these things at their budget defences but the fact of the matter is that a pervading culture of 'throw money at problems' has swallowed the soul of this country eating away at the will to get things done by every way and means possible including looking inwards to creativity, qualitative management and resourcefulness.

In Nigeria today administrators are content with mediocrity, failure and doing nothing if money is not front and centre so the country continues to bleed its economy to feed the proverbial bears.

When a General who should speak in terms of tanks and ships, aircraft, bombs and bullets like his counterparts abroad is more adept to naira and kobo, something is amiss.

In those days the simple reason why professionals are engaged is so that things can be DONE rather than BOUGHT.
Nigeria is long lost along that road.

Outside restructuring, the only thing Nigeria needs is revolutionary leadership. Out of the box thinkers in government and beyond and the backing of a citizenry that is absolutely fed up with the status quo.

For a population of over 200m , you need more people
and equipment to cover many places and that's more money ... Check what saner clumes Budget for less than 100m people ... You will know that our budget is nonsense... Nigeria needs generate more money and citizens should also promptly pay taxes ... All this minimum way can't be more than that realistically cus our budgets shows it ... Imagine state like porthacourt having budgets of N800b ... Too small ... We need more infrastructure, workers needs to be paid well... Maintenance all these is more money ... That money is very small... Qatar that's not up to 3.5m population see their federal annual budget ratio compared to ours .. I remembered then people where comparing Nigeria to Qatar ... Despite Qatar produces more oil than Nigeria ... Just take like 30mins check yourself budgets of countries better than Nigeria you will see ... Nigeria can have those big budgets no matter what they embezzled he go show ... Politicians are thieves everywhere .. even Steve Harvey talk am sef for one his shows

Only for insecurity and it's not enough. What if Nigeria is to fight Egypt or South Africa, we will require 20 Trillion to execute or prosecute.

You kids don't get it..

Money hasn't been released and you are saying it is already stolen..that's being FULL BLOWN NEGATIVE..that's expecting bad even before anything happens...

What's that called...

Besides dwelling on "reality" that's negative makes the situation better

I can tell you for free that folks with such mentality are always going to NOT make it or atleast not be happy with where they are in life,no matter what .

You presented a budget estimate and still say that it's not enough. This Minister should be sacked.

Imagine submitting a financial proposal for a contract to a government and when called for defense, you said it's not enough which means you don't know what you are doing.
