People from different ethnic groups are trading in that market, but the usual losers are the only group shouting ethnic victimisation to achieve a political and parochial motive. We understand the game. 7 Likes 3 Shares |

reddingtonblack: Based on a first hand encounter with a lawyer and human rights division of the Nigerian police, the above statement is a lie. There's nowhere in the world where landlords are mandated to give a 3 year rent-free eviction notice. Whether it's 3-6 months or 3 years, a tenant is obliged to pay for the extended perior except the landlord decides to ignore. What I find strange in Mynd's narration is the fact that POWA or any agent refused to take rent for 4 years (since 2019) in a place like computer village. Well I may be wrong. |

Sentiments apart, change is necessary. Lawlessness can't continue to prevail. If you are given quit notice, hard as it is, get an alternative. 1 Like |

Some tenants are difficult to evict, if you don't apply legal means to the end. They have been given enough notices but acting indifferent, as if, owner has no right to possession. 2 Likes |

And some never do well urchins are happy that the ongoing demolition only affect the Igbo's, forgetting what affects the eyes also affects the nose Meaning, if you attack an Igbo man's business for instance because of hatred and envy unfortunately he runs down You did not only ruin him alone you also ruin others who indirectly earn a living out of his business who often are not Igbo's So, it's like a chain banding them together indirectly, if you drag one end down to the sea the others drown along with it. |

Dcaliphate:You rent a shop from police wives (landlord), your rent expires 5 years ago you didn't pay rent since then, landlord isn't interested in rent, she wants to demolish and rebuild a modern structure on her land, you said landlord has no right to her building and land Then you as a nairalander came around and claimed it's evil for landlord to demolish and attempt to rebuild, she must compensate tenants with that have not been paying rent for almost half a decade |

The so called POWA get money to rebuild the complex? Same POWA that their husbands are killing Nigerians daily because of 100 naira? I laugh in swahilli. Lagos state government is behind this and it's part of their igbophobia agenda. They are just handing under POWA. Demolish the complex, rebuild it immediately and don't rent it to igbos. Watch out more target demolishing to take place. Happy new year Good and just Nigerians. |

i know this place. What a breath of fresh air this will bring to that place. A better structure is befitting for that location, perhaps something similar to Jara Mall. God bless Lagos State, NPF and punish the enemies of Nigeria especially "the developers" 1 Like |
