Tinubu removed subsidy and put the masses in extreme hunger and poverty, now he's looking for a way to rechannel the saved money to ease the suffering of the masses. The irony is that, 200million+ Nigerians benefitted from the subsidy, while only few are benefiting from his kangaroo palliative.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. This huge fund would have been better utilized than the way it has been reportedly spent. 57Billion Naira could have injected in the value/supply chain of agricultural produce.

So let me understand this format
The govt provides fertiliser for the farmers through the Presidential fertiliser initiative
The govt then goes back to purchase the goods produced by the farmers in the name of palliatives
The govt then distributes the goods to the citizens among whom are farmers who produced the goods
And we say we are in a capitalist economy?
Is it not obvious that APC is practicing communism?

Tinubus idea of governance is to be giving out handouts instead of improving the standard of living of Nigerians. he believes that Nigerians should continuously depend on politicians for hand outs to survive. unfortunately, many of his supporters and his kinsmen mistook this for generosity. in the guise of being generous, Tinubu disburses government funds to his fellow politicians to give out as hand outs. but in real fact, bulk of the money is meant for his political associates to pocket as his settlement to them

A man cannot give what he does not have⚠️

The moment poor Nigerians wake up and shun tribalism and religion.... That's when Nigeria will start getting better for everyone!!!!

But for now, let's continue to deceive ourselves... EMILOKAN♂️

nairalanda1, Tinubu "removes" fuel subsidy because just like you, he said it was not sustainable and then introduces "palliatives" which he shares to politicians to give to the people to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal.

pls what is the difference between the fuel subsidy that was removed and this palliative?
Re: Tinubu’s N57.8bn Rice Palliative Raises Dust by moodyguy: 9:50am On Jan 08
They should have just left the fuel subsidy ooo.At least that is the only Palliative the masses would have reaily enjoyed ...this wastage is really painful.TINUBU please restore the SUBSIDY

How can a country with almost non existent, robust data attempts to share palliatives?

Why are we like this as a Nation?

How will the govt know the precise numbers and locations of citizens that are qualified?

The Federal Govt intentionally opens the door to fraud and corruption.

Please is this how this useless man intend to rule Nigeria for the next four years? Sharing money and rice to politicians with virtually no clue on how the country will be better?
The prices of goods and services have gone through the roof and all he's doing is to share rice and SUVs to politicians.
One of his zombies here was telling me the other day that I don't know about governance but is this what governance is? Sharing money and rice to politicians is governance while the masses are suffering from hyperinflation of goods and services.
Please when are we going to revolt all this nonsense going on in this country, these people are already killing our dreams in broad daylight.
