It s not bad idea to start something that can earn you some income
Do your cost-benefit analysis and decide.
How financially pressed are you? Do you have your own accommodation? How is your daily feeding? What about transport costs?
What time of the day is the security job? Will you have access/time to do other things e.g. some reading or going to submit applications etc. ?

Someone defined 'JOB' as "the temporary comfort that perpetually makes u forgo your dreams".

You may take this job, for now, but you must seek to be self-reliant ie be ur own boss; this is the very certain way for you to be rich/wealthy.

I wish I had someone to tell me this as a student, I won't have spent unnecessary years searching for jobs. Now, I'm my own boss and I wish I knew this trick earlier.

I took a job of 10k during my NYSC back in 2013 and got retained to receive a salary of 30k, got promoted 6 months after to 50k and 3 months after to 60k then I moved to a multinational, and by the grace of God, am in a good place now.

i dont have time to read ur story, but i will tell you that, you should thank god for that 30k monthly job. i have been a graduate since 2019, if i see a 30k job i will gladly take it without any complain.

A starting point. You have ideas of how to be useful to others when u start. There is work; it takes enterprise to make it jobs. Think outside the box when u start the security woek

Please take it. While at it, be deligent and smart (I don't mean negatively). In 2019 I took a teaching job of 12k to be able to fend for myself. later added extra lectures and private lessons and soon it was close to 70k monthly. From there I bought my first laptop in 2021 and started freelancing. Today, by the mercies of God the story is different.

Pay your tithe and speak rightly. Don't get a girlfriend, you cant afford it. Dont get an addiction, you cant afford it. Plan before your money comes not after it comes. Then, lastly choose your friends.

Honestly bro I've been trying to get a skill but it's not easy I swear I don't have the necessary tools. I've been trying to get a laptop but things are just tight for me
