There needs to be homegrown solutions to each insecurity issue. The ineffective method of moving greenhorns from one distant region to another to manage things as important as human lives has killed more people in Nigeria. Criminals will mass together and decide to slaughter hundreds of people and the force leadership will be too naive to approach the issue with the right solutions that would have solved the problems, because they are using solution A for region X. Insecurity in one region differs completely with the one in another region, so also is the causative factors. Should I talk about the terrains being so different that some people who doesn't have water bodies in their region cannot pursue criminals in the creeks, or people from thick rain forests being posted to fight crime in deserts. STATE POLICING AND REGIONAL ARMY NOW, or you guys keep burying your countrymen. Sad as it sounds, I even think the president, if he refuses should appoint a minister for funerals, and a full ministry for digging and carrying out mass burials. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Meeting upon meeting with nothing tangible. The equipment APC used to eavesdrop into Peter Obi's phone conversation with Oyedepo can also be used to track the location of kidnappers when they are calling the relatives of the hostages on phone. They know what to do but they won't do it. Kidnapping for ransom is one the easiest crime to solve. 83 Likes 5 Shares |

Same thing Buhari did for 8 years and nothing tangible was achieved, instead the bandits got bolder and attacked presidential convoy in Katsina State. Doing same thing again & again and expecting different results is waste of time. The Armed Forces DSS, Navy, Civil Defense, Police, Air Force and Army is already infested with terrorist sympathizers. They leak intelligence to the terrorist before security men arrive. Who else noticed that terrorist sympathizers like CoronaVirusPro, MURIC, GUMI, lovenorth etc... have never condemned bandits and their evil activities on any forum. 37 Likes 4 Shares |

The biggest problem our country is facing is the problem of incompetence in most sector. Am talking about almost every sector we have humans calling the shots and especially designations that are not attained by votes but paper merits and connections. Look around you when get to any situation involving people in scores, you hardly see a level of competence in handlings as little as making people to queue. Both leaders and followers are guilty of this. I can only pray things get better and those involved in the kidnapping and gruesome murder of that little girl be brought to justice. |

Meeting upon meeting without any meaningful results. That was the same thing that motherless kangaroo did throughout his 8years in office. It baffles me that nothing is working in this country. 8 Likes |

Two major thing that can solve insecurity in the country. 1. Call for REFERENDUM with immediate effect. 2. Government should start creating job opportunities for youths. If this is not look into with immediate effect, the country is going to collapse. God forbid. |

Shameful. He doesnt know the kind of poor aesthetics it gives that he is holding his own meeting after Wike had had meeting with heads of Abuja security agencies. The COS should have told Wike to delay his meeting till this one held by Tinubu, unless Tinubu had no original intention to call any security meeting until he held about Wike's own. He would be making Wike feel like one untouchable star of the administration now. 1 Like |
