I remember him making that statement that even if you carry an half-dead Buhari to the north, they will still vote for him. That was towards the 2019 election. I found that statement particularly striking.
He seemed to know the zombie-like attachment the north had for Buhari despite his ineptitude and incapacity

I've always and will always admire the Lion of Ubima. Anyone who knows him, knows he is blunt, honest and devoid of sentiments.
Even while serving under Buhari he did not shy away from saying that Nigerians were suffering and hated the administration.

Nigerians deserve the type of leaders they get. How will any sane human being collect money at polling booths, or vote incompetence based on ethnoreligious sentiments and expect accountability from the one who has bought your vote or performance from the one who knows nothing about the office?

Even girls have the conscience to know that a man who bought them sharwarma, fresh fish pepper soup and Smirnoff Ice merits their kpekus by default.

Likewise we must imbibe that culture and accept that a politician who spent his life savings and incurred debts just to buy our votes merits looting the treasury dry after assuming office by default.

Mr. Amaechi should not come and add salt to the injury of Nigerians. Nigerians did their part by voting en masse for the party of Mr. Amaechi's choice candidate (14 million vote for the fractionalised PDP vs 9 million vote for the incumbent party). If Mr. Amaechi can't see this glaring fact before him, maybe he should rest.
