In a decisive blow against terrorism, the military air component of Operation Whirl Punch has successfully executed airstrikes, eliminating 30 terrorists on motorcycles in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

This strategic operation was launched following actionable intelligence revealing the movement of the terrorist syndicate within the area.

Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, the Director of Public Relations and Information, released a statement on Monday detailing the success of the mission.

The eradicated terrorists were identified as the culprits behind the recent ambush on troops at Kwanan Mutuwa and numerous attacks and abductions of innocent civilians in the Birnin Gwari LGA.
