Sorry but I beg to differ from your statement. Christians had nothing to do with the deaths of Igbos which actually began as a heated argument in the market between an Igbo trader and a Hausa trader. The Christian indigenous people were not prominent in market trading at that time, They were mostly farmers residing in surrounding villages or miners in the Tin industry.

the 1945 crisis was triggered in a market dominated by the Igbos and Hausa Muslim settlers with the Hausas then angry and envious of the Igbo successes at the time. It had nothing to with the local indigenous Christians please.
