Allow Nigerians in diaspora to contribute meaningfully to be development of Nigeria
Many Nigerians are top police officers in the UK/USA.Many are top military officers and we have many working in sensitive security departments.
You can't fight the battle alone allow relevant people to come in

Africans with their inferiority complex. Imagine a single soldier offering to come train thousands of already-trained vigilante members, as if he got his own training from heaven. We always believe that the white people have solutions to all problems, when we can simply use our God-given brain to work out solutions ourselves.
What a foolish comment. He is more exposed in security issues than hundreds of our military officer who have never been opportune to Morden intelligence and equipments

what they need is state police and loca government police well equipped with assault rifles to counter the invaders.
What is the essence of offering training without counter equipment to fight.?

Nigeria was bequeathed to I:gbos not Fu:lanis. Infact it was to both of them with I:gbos as the head and Fu:lanis as the 2nd in command.

What else do you think gave the I:gbos confidence to start a civil war

Igbos didn't start a civil war.

The first election of 1959 was rigged by d british to favour d north. The first census was also skewed to project d north as having more population.

So i:gbo soldiers killing leaders, men, women and children of other ethnic nations under the guise and lies of fighting corruption is not reasons to start a civil war

From 1910 onwards to 1960 the Bri:tish gave most jobs to I:gbos even outside the Eastern region despite the fact that other ethnic nations also had highly educated people. That's one of the reasons that I:gbos are all over Nigeria.

It was after 1960 when the Br:itish left, that ig:bos began loosing their jobs outside the Eastern region to indigenes but both Sultan and Akintola still raised public awareness that there were still a lot of ig:bos who had jobs outside their region and things were put in place to ensure the indigenes got jobs but i:gbos weren't happy and also because their region wasn't the richest region so the I:gbos killed the Sultan who was the prime minister and Akintola and abolished regionalism to ensure they don't lose jobs outside the Eastern region and also get the richest and wealth of other regions. But when a counter coup happened and I:gbos lost control of power the I:gbos started shouting dis-integration and b:iafra and separation.

You have a mental problem if you believe I:gbos did not start the civil war

He also offered to train them on how to gather intelligence locally, I won't be surprised if he's not offered the opportunity because it won't allow govt alter financial figures. If he had said he will do it at a cost govt go rush am because if he's doing it for 100 bucks, it will be written as 2000 bucks on paper.
bigpriik:
its not about training them,it about the kind of weapon they can wield, amotekun is not allowed to wield ak47 and other advanced assault rifles and weapons,if they do the government will term it illegal, for now they can only use pump action which is no match for herdsmen and bandits so such training is useless.

That was the first thing that came to my mind. Sure, he can offer some advice but that's it. Sure, Amotekun needs any modern training and gadgetary they can get, but the SW governments can find a good urban police force to help them with this - NYPD's SBO, LAPD's SWAT, Scotland Yard or anything along those lines.

Training is not useless. A trained person can do a lot with a pump action. Training is just not something one person can offer.

I will try so hard to stay civil.

Until you understand that who pass you pass you, you won't make progress in life. He was trained in the UK for crying out loud!

That man has identified the failings of the security operatives and wants to help them at no cost as a way of giving back to the same country where he comes from.

You need to change your mentality.

Are the security problems in the UK of a similar nature as those here all things taken into consideration - ethnic flavoring, geography, religious flavoring, guerilla warfare, etc.

Besides as someone pointed out, that's an Air force Officer offering to train ground para military forces? Odd, no?

That is the intention of the request. I don't know what pictures will solve if not that he wants to put the man down.

You are right. However, there is no crime in experince sharing. The government can tap into his experience as explore its implementation where necessary.
